I read this with my 6 and 3 year olds before bedtime. This sweet story for early readers of chapter books shows that wishes can come true, but not always in the way you expect. Sophie lives in a tall, tall building overlooking a city park. In the middle of the park is an amazing pet store named the Ark in the Park, run by Mr. and Mrs. Noah. While Sophie dreams impossible dreams of owning a pet and having cousins and grandparents, the childless Noahs long for grandchildren. Their wishes come true...more
