It was born out of a previous idea for a long distance walk between Oxford and Bath but was extended northwards to Buckingham where the author was educated nearby. I'm compelled to write something about this book because (1) it was good and informative but more importantly (2) the author was gracious enough to provide a nice hand written message with signature just for purchasing his book from his website. How cool is that ! I suppose it's the little things that matter but this book is great if you plan on making a trek from through a portion of England and seeing some sites and history.

I saw The Palladium Way in a giveaway. I needed a book about English estates to do my research for my book. I fell in love with the cover and the title. The research done by the author is very interesting... But the book in a whole is a deception. No great photos, the editing is careless... The book is... awkward for one that intends to introduce us to a walk among the GREATEST estates of middle England.
