This book has nothing to offer beyond the joke on the front cover. It contains a few pages of blindly-copied HTML with bits of it haphazardly replaced with words of little or no interest to babies (like "teeth" and "running"). It lacks narrative structure, the HTML doesn't validate, and it's printed with BPA-based inks which are toxic to babies.

How is my poor, education-craving baby supposed to learn to code properly when there are rookie mistakes (like unclosed tags)? Boooo to the author, "NYC Web Designer". Fun for taking baby pic, though.

I mean, this is obviously more of a 'novelty' gift than anything else, but I did expect it to be formatted similarly to 'labeling books' (another form of picture book for the very young that shows an illustration of an animal/place/thing and its name . . . no other prose included). Rather, it was just pages of html code with no explanation of which element corresponded to what.

When I picked this up from the library I did not at first realize it was a baby book. However this idea
To show them html from an early age is actually a very good one and I would totally consider getting this for my child

Clever concept brilliantly brought to life in this board book for newborn and budding to-be programmers. Perhaps as much for the tot's geeky parents as for baby coder him/herself. A-B-C-HTML...indeed!
