Pack law states she can have up to four mates, if she can find the courage to choose them.

Escaping a kidnapping duo, Bailey runs into a naked man in the middle of the woods. And he’s not alone.

Rescued by a quad of hunks, then kept against her will, she doesn’t know what to think or do—other than scream that is—when she discovers they are werewolves. Even more frightening,

This is Eve’s second book in the Pack series, it starts out with a bang and ends with one too. Just as the first in the series this one is full of fast action, mystery and emotions that will have you hanging onto your seat. You get a wonderful plus sized heroine that’s not afraid of adventure or sex and this heroine not only gets 3 but 4 hot demanding wolves, lucky dog LOL. This one was so intense I couldn’t put it down until I read it all and then I was left with a surprise that had me crying…. ...more

In this awesome sequel to Defying Pack Law. Bailey is a pretty lonely girl. After finding out that her boyfriend was screwing her best friend she decides to go out for a night on the town. After running into an awfully delectable cowboy(Gavin) at the bar...the next day she f

3 1/2 stars. I started out very much liking the book, but an odd, unfinished ending and lack of a complete HEA took away my book-loving-bliss.

My Issues:

Some wording just didn't sit right with me. I've never called my lady parts a "cleft", but that was just about the only word that Bailey thought of when describing her tingling bits. And then in one scene, she describes one of the men's thrusting action as "seesawing". Sorry, but that's an analogy better left on the playground.

I'm not happy with

The pack alpha's father and evil half vampire half werewolf Roderick is back. This time around he and his motley crew of rogue werewolves are kidnapping supposedly random women only for their tortured bodies to be found days or weeks after being taken. His most recent victim is Bailey, a young woman who has just been betrayed by her boyfriend and best friend and decides to go to a bar by herself to try and make friends. While there she meets Gavin and Wyatt, werewolves even though she is unaware ...more

After finding her boyfriend in her bed with her best friend Bailey decides she needs to get out in the world and make new friends. I am sure she never expected to get the attention of several sexy unmated werewolves. All it took was one trip into a country bar and that is exactly what she got. Now she just needs to come to terms with what they want from her and how she feels about that. That’s a little difficult to accomplish with her crazed libido and the crazed fool who has kidnapped her.

4-Pretty Good Stuff, 5-Loved It! Definite Keeper!

BTP… In walks lonely girl who meets sexy cowboy. Cowboy sniffs… Cowboy likes… However, due to extraordinary circumstances nobody gets a happy ending. That is until evil doer kidnaps girl… Of course our Cowboy is a hero and therefore must save the day. After much deliberation on girls’ part, she allows Cowboy and his buddies to keep her safe. Now I don’t know about you but if I was

Poor Bailey...she's found a hunk...he asks her to wait for him, he has an errand to run...and then she's kidnapped and held by something hideous.

Just when she thinks she's escaped...she's surrounded by WOLVES...HUGE WOLVES...well they are really Lycan Pack Members...but still...WOLVES!

Once she understands the situation, she's still not very at ease. They keep saying she's SAFE now...but WOLVES! And one of them BITES her...which is a marriage in Lycan Pack society.

This is a real journey for her..

Well, it's been quite a while since I read #1, but I might have to keep reading this series now because I'm intrigued. First, I know Jaxson isn't gone. He can't be. Which also means the douche is still alive. And, since there are four in the series and this is just number two, of course there's more to tell. Still, it was an interesting story. I'm not sure the sex was all that, but I have to enjoy men who like a curvy girl. :-) And, because these are shifters and the normal rules don't apply, of ...more

What a fun read. I liked all the characters. Especially Wyatt. He was my favorite of Bailey's men. I liked his alphaness. I did wish she had more time with Jaxon. Although from the ending I know I'll see him again. I'm also thoroughly tired of Roderick and I can not see him again and won't be sad. I'm ready for someone to finally finish him.
I loved the sex scenes and can't wait to read the next one.
Ooooo 4 guys, 1 girl...Hells Yeah I'm reading it!! Plus, it has a WARNING!!! Hee Hee!

Warning: Not all gorgeous blond cowboys with dark-haired sidekicks met in a bar will be werewolves, but if they are, prepare to howl, because when it comes to loving their mate, nothing beats their hands-on tag team approach.

Note: All the sexual focus is on her. There is no male on male action.

Eve Langlais has a comedic and sexy way of writing. Her books are quick reads, but are very addictive and pretty well developed. She writes love stories that have less courting and more fate involved, but always a conflict that brings her lovers closer together.

This book is a little darker than the first in the fact that the main female character Bailey is tortured, and there is actually a fight that ends in heartbreak for our heroes. The only thing I wasn't happy with is the fact that the chara

It would seem that the author has issues telling apart "patriarchal" and "misogyny" if this second book is anything to go by. Her "rescues" leave much to be desired, too, when the "heroes" treat her as bad as her would-be rapists. She crosses that line from protecting to force again and again, including yet another forced mating to "keep the little lady in line" with the big men's plans. Meh. I am slogging through this series with little love for it at all. None of them are heroes despite them c ...more
I wasn't so crazy about the first of this series. I don't know why I read this one, aside from falling for the plot/blurb.

This is another one of these books where the heroine gets no real say in her life. She is manipulated, lied to, drugged and she forgives everything because the sex is so great. (hork)
The sex in this erotica is pretty bland. I didn't feel much depth of character from any of the people.

It's somewhat of an HEA, although one of the four mates is missing, assumed captured and bein

I have to say I'm getting really sick of reading romances that have no romance in them with heros that do not do anything heroic. Isn't the hero supposed to save the heroine? Not come after she's been raped and tortured, saying her memory was wiped does not get me past that horror. I probably won't be finishing this **** .

Wait, this gets better. After not remeering her many rapes and running from no people trying to rape her, her hero finds her and tends to her and does he feel sad for her ordea

The second book in the Pack series by Eve Langlais was a nice read. The author writes great paranormal romance books and I love the balance between adventure and romance but, although I really liked the plot I was kind of sad with the end of the story (and no, I am not going to say what happens!).

Bailey is the main female character. I can’t say that I liked her a lot. She is very insecure and many times I really wanted to slap her! I am not saying that she is a bad person but I don’t think that

Bailey is pretty much alone in this world. She's no friends, lost her parents last year and has no other relatives to speak of. So when she's kidnapped, she's certain she's going to die because there will be no one to look for her. Except what she doesn't know is that the hunky guy she met at the bar the night of her abduction is a werewolf who's found his mate in her and is out there searching for her with three of his pack mates.

Bailey has no idea what she's in for when she's rescued by Gavin.

I really liked this one :) A LOT of action going on (not just in the bedroom either :) And it ends on a good note, with the possibility of yet another "pack" book - YEAH!!!

This book mentions Nathan and Dana from the previous book - if you haven't read the first book, I recommend reading it first - that one explains a lot of the Counsel Laws and Mating rights - it also sets up this book nicely.

In the Prologue, we meet Bailey. It's not pretty. She is being tortured beyond belief. She wakes up st
On a whim Bailey decides she is tired of groveling in self pity at home and hits a bar to try and meet someone. It doesn't have to be a man in particular, but she realizes after her abrupt end to her relationship with her ex that she doesn't have any friends. Little does Bailey know that she will be kidnapped and held for days before she is rescued by a man who she remembers from the bar. With no memory of what happened, Bailey finds herself relying on four complete strangers for protection.

I liked Bailey and totally get her problem but she suffered so much in this book that she deserves a happy ending better than anyone. Now we know how the bad guy is and what he wants, but it’s never easy to locate and stop him.

So this book was different, because I thought Bailey was a werewolf but it was difficult to really see that happening, but the bad guy, and I’m not saying names, really wanted her. For some strange reason that she’s part of his plan.

I liked this family, but was a bit confu

I do love the fated mate theme in some books. Eve Langlais does it so well. This is the second in a trilogy of wolf shape-shifters stories. I really liked #1 "Defying The Pack" and I really enjoyed this one too. There were several erotic and sensual scenes with her fated lovers. Bailey loses her jerk boyfriend and best girlfriend because she found out they were sleeping together. Her parents died a year ago. Her job doesn't lend itself much to meeting new people working nights and all. Her TV br ...more

Fourth time's the charm. I don't believe there is a saying such as so but it surely doesn't make it false.

Betraying Pack Law is a continuation of Defying Pack Law, however, the focus is on a different set of mates with the back transitioning story being the same. In fact, the underlying conflict of Roderick trying to stake his claims as the top mojo is much more written. I found that element a perfect way to liven the entire novel. What's not fun about running for your life and learning who you

One hot read....

What do you do when you've been betrayed by your bff with your boyfriend? Clean yourself up, go to a bar, and pick up a cowboy or two. That's when things go wrong. Bailey gets kidnapped, gets rescued, and gets married werewolf style. But life isn't happy ever after yet. Nathan's dad is back for round two and he is determined to win. Read for yourself what happens next.

I enjoyed this one while reading it, except for the uncertain ending. Thinking about it later and reading through other comments, I have to agree it had some problems though, particularly a wussy heroine who picks the oddest times to try to stand up for herself and caves at other times. Of course, she is in *way* over her head.

Bailey finally decides to go out and meet someone new, promptly meets hot cowboy Gavin and makes plans to meet him later, but gets kidnapped before he comes back by the ve

I enjoyed this book overall but there were things I didn't exactly love. I would have liked more time developing the relationship between Parker and Bailey and Jaxon and Bailey - I just wasn't entirely buying their connection. Plus I thought some of the language was a little weird e.g. (and this is off the top of my head) calling the bad guys ruffians/miscreants - Bailey is a modern girl so it's unlikely she is going to call the rogues wolves that, so I didn't feel this fit with her character's ...more

To be honest i was actually surprised at how good a story it actually was. I thought the storyline was pretty good and it kept me intrigued, even threw a few surprises my way, i would think i knew what was going on and i was wrong. I liked the characters but i think i liked Wyatt more than Gavin, not entirely sure why, but i prefer brunnettes. But i think i liked Jaxon's humour most of all. I am at war with myself. I want to give 5 stars to the way this book was written but I gave it 4 stars because I hated how it ended. I absolutely hated that Jaxon died. Also it seemed a little weird that she would get over Jaxon's death so fast... I mean weren't they mates?
