Shelley Tanaka does an amazing job of transporting the reader into the terror (for Americans) and excitement (for Japanese) of December 7, 1941 and the Pearl Harbor attack. I love reading about World War II. This is the first book I have read on Pearl Harbor. This book is a childrens/young adult book. I found the pictures fascinating. Some were actual pictures and others were exceptionally drawn.

Attack on Pearl Harbor has the view point of the Japanese and their planned attack. You also learn about some of the people that were there when the attack happened. I nice enjoyable short book

This book show hard is to have lived the attack on the pearl harbor while i red this book i thinked like if i was someone in the U.S.S Arizona battleship in this book you know how the japanese forces made the US envolved in the seconfd world war. If you are interest in the attack you can go and see the USS ARIZONA memorial located in Rhode Island, Hawaii. there you can also see other boats sinked.

this book is about the true event that happened on dec, 7th. 11-year-old Peter Nottage, who witnessed the bombing of the Kaneohe Naval Air Station; 23-year-old Ensign Kazuo Sakamaki, who participated in an ill-fated midget submarine attack on the harbor; and 19-year-old George DeLong, a seaman who was trapped in the wreckage of the USS Oklahoma.

Even though this isnt the book I read it still good. The book i read i handed back in so i do not remember the correct book but the story is still the same. The attack was devistating but very intersting. I would reconmend it.

This book may confuse a child reading this to obtain facts about Pearl Harbor.
