Barbara always thought of Ethan as her little brother's annoying best friend, and she was sure he just considered her his friend's nerdy big sister. Until the hot night after her brother's wedding. Alone in the heat, it's clear Ethan sees her in a way she never saw herself: as a sexy, sensual woman. And for the first time, Barbara feels ready to break free from the painful ...more

Since reading Lauren Hawkeye's last short book Take Me Down, I was looking forward to reading Tie Me Up. Again with the ability to create characters we can connect to and a sizzling romance, I was really able to enjoy this book and was a little sad to see it end so soon.

Barbara and Ethan were both great characters developed well in such a short amount of time and I was really glad to see that I was able to connect with them and their lives quickly enough to want to learn more. Barbara has never
This is the second book in Lauren Hawkeye's Erotic Me series and just as enjoyable as the first release. The characters are just as likable, with the character of Barbara a bit more fleshed out than the previous installment's heroine. It takes place at the same house and the same time frame as the previous story and this makes for a unique connection between each story. The description of the hot summer night feels very realistic and adds to the eroticism of the story.

The storyline is one I enjo

Spice Briefs are super short erotic stories that pack a swift punch in your "get hot and bothered zone." Tie Me Up is the 2nd story in the Erotic Me series by Lauren Hawkeye.

It is super short...somewhere around 20 pages, so Lauren has to reach out and grab you fast, because if you blink, you are on the last page. In this one we see Barbara and Ethan, two people that have known each other for ages, but have never ....erm EXPLORED each other.

That changes.

The second book in the Erotic Me series was a very touching read for me. You don’t really expect that from an erotic romance. You expect to be excited and hot under the collar when you are done reading but I really wish that Lauren would continue Barbara and Ethan’s story.

Barbara, a previous rape victim, thinks she isn’t sexy or sensual but Ethan helps her to realise that she is. He helps her to find herself. He protects her and ensures her that should she wish him to stop he will. At the end he

Tie Me Up is another great short by Lauren Hawkeye. Seriously, if you have 15 or 20 minutes I suggest picking up this book. It was just so hot! Lauren just has a way with being able to pack just enough in her stories to leave me feeling fulfilled yet wanting more. I am also really enjoying the common thread of the wedding going through all of the shorts. It's interesting to see certain events through more than one persons eyes. I definitely w
I really liked this but it was over way too quickly for me. Before I knew it the story was finished and I wanted more. I wanted to know more about Barbara's story when she was younger but I guess that's what you must expect with a short story. I did like the storyline and loved Barbara and Ethan just wished there was more to it.

Lauren Hawkeye/ Lauren Jameson never imagined that she'd wind up telling stories for a living... though when she looks back, it's easy to see that she's the only one who is surprised. Always "the kid who read all the time", Lauren made up stories about her favorite characters once she'd finished a book... and once spent an entire year narrating her own life internally. No, really. But where she wa ...more
