I have mixed feelings about this book. I can't say it's bad, because I've taught 95% of the projects before. they're great projects! Very attractive book. Good simple art projects. Many will remind parents of old elementary and middle school art projects. Great projects and I love that each project has a "Meet the Artist" section with links to contemporary or historical artists. I always love the working artist or art history connection!
Candy
Great ideas for teaching art at my kids school and also inspiration for myself to develop my personal creativity.

Probably useful for art instruction, but wasn't really what I was looking for (creative inspiration for teens & tweens).

Slightly impractical materials and the ideas were a little weak BUT would still make a great series of projects for a summer reading program.
Marti
