Weird and funny... I haven't decided it yet..
I'm fairly certain I've seen a televised version of this which was obviously lengthened from this very short story.

I don't think the denouement is one of Ms Christie's best, but the who and the how worked well, the story itself was well written in a condensed fashion and it was enjoyable.

šiek tiek mistikos + viena nekalta senutė - nusikaltimų sprendimo asė + pavojingos paslaptys = skanus detektyvinis desertas. Netikėtumas, paini istorija ir įdomus siužetas - Christie arkliukas
Chris The Story Reading Ape
Not your typical Miss Marple nosing around, asking questions and irritating police detectives type of mystery, in fact, she deals with this one while staying in bed recovering from the flu.
Excellent little read.

This short story was my first introduction to Agatha Christie's work. I really enjoyed it and will be reading more Miss Marple Mysteries and may even download some more of these short stories.
Very good short story. I really didn't see the ending coming, and it was quite interesting to read.
I love Miss Marple, and this case is a classic example of her (and Christie's) work. Recommended.
Great short story!
