Blood Bound by Aine Massie is book # 2 in the House Millar series. I enjoyed the second book more than the first and was glad to see that the story really picked up. In this book you get more background information on characters and you are introduced to several new ones. I would definitely say this series is for young adult paranormal romance lovers. Although it's a book about vampires, there are some surprisingly well thought out themes that play through out the book. I loved the way Anya's pe...more

This is the second installment of Aine Massie's Blood's Voice series. This time around, I was pulled right into the story. This book starts right where the last one ended. I enjoyed reading more about Anya's back-story and got to know some more characters and their back stories. Anya is head of her own house now and she seems to be collecting more eclectic members this time around.
The story blends flashbacks with current events simultaneously. The romance abounds in this story and you can't hel...more

I followed Anya, Nicholas, and Declan through learning about how they felt for one another in book one. I was suprised at how it ended but not disappointed.

In book two, we were introduced to some new characters that play a huge role in the book. Louie and Simon are back and Louie is a VERY entertaining character in this book! (I may have to interview him later since I liked him so much!) I think that Aine did a great job with this book. I love the way she made all of the characters work togethe...more
