I am completely addicted to this series. I really enjoyed Fallen, the first book in the Guardian Trilogy, but Eternity totally blew me away. I knew I would like it since I was a fan of the first, but nothing could have prepared me for just how much I would fall in love with not only the characters, but the whole world that Ms.Falter has created.

Eternity picks up where Fallen left us with Eran and Maggie trying to stay one step ahead of the Fallen Ones who want to destroy Maggie. This proves to b...more

Awesome. Just awesome.

I’m not really into the angels books. I haven’t had much luck at all. Each book I have read about Angels I didn’t love and so I didn’t finish the series. My luck has turned, I found Fallen (the first book in this series). Now, I didn’t love it cause so much went unanswered, but I liked it enough to get the next one (this one) Eternity, and boy am I glad I did. I loved it. I loved everything about it. All the answers were there, just waiting for me to find them. Ms Falter h...more

Laury Falter is now one of my favorite authors. Guardian Trilogy gets better and better. This series is just wonderful; filled with love, suspense and action.

Though reading the first part of the book is not necessary I definitely recommend it.

We continue with Maggie trying to live a normal life even though she is the last messenger in existence and the Fallen One's want her dead. Eran has professed his love for her but has made it clear that until all Fallen angels are dead he will not act on hi...more

I don't know what it was about this one, but it was just ok. I feel like the majority of this review will be spoilers, so beware. However, unless you are absolutely in love with this series and couldn't bare the thought of knowing the outcome before hand, it might be good to have a heads up of what to expect. I'll leave that up to you.

Maggie and Eran just got on my nerves in this one. I HATE when some dumb boy will tell the heroine nothing, constantly keeping her in the dark, all while using the...more

This is a decent book. An interesting series. But I can only give it 3 stars for the multiple grammar errors. I don't usually nitpick; but there were enough in this book to annoy me....and they were usually in an important part of the book. I can't even name how many times into was spelled in to. Words misspelled, serious punctuation issues, words being used in the wrong tense. Little mistakes here and there are, of course, natural. It's just frustrating when you're reading a pretty good story l...more

Again, the author succeeded in luring me into the pages with her descriptive narrative. The adventure continued for Magdalene and Eran and I could not stop reading until I had reached the end. In this installment, I was most interested in watching as Magdalene and Eran's love blossomed more, building on what was established in Fallen. Their unspoken, and spoken, devotion to one another is beyond reproach. Something that was so very easy to fall into with them. I finished Eternity within twelve h...more

One of the BEST series I have read this year! (DO NOT LET THE COVERS FOOL YOU!) Laury Falter, creates a masterpiece with her Guardian Trilogy. This series is the definition of near-perfection with a few minor errors. Fallen, is the first book of Falter that I have read, and I was mesmerize by her creativity, -detailed writing. And, she does not prolong the events and tries to stretch out the story! I love that! This is a trilogy and I am glad she...more

This one hooked me so much more then the first. Both still very intriguing but this one has all the action in it I was looking for. Easy to keep up and the book has you intrigued and super interested the whole time.

The main characters in this series are strong, brave, and hard-headed which makes for great action chapters. Plus the stubbornness the two of them both have, makes for a cute love story between them. Maggie has found out so much about who she truly is, and the relationship she has had...more

Good stuff. The second book in the series was better than the first. I'm excited to read the third and final book, but I don't quite get how the author will be able to get the story all wrapped up...

While the plot of this book series had so much potential, the hundreds of grammatical errors and numerous plot holes made it painful to read. I am not a picky reader and usually love cheesy young adult sci-fi romance novels, but seriously - was this book ever edited? Did the author even read it through a second time? I am no expert on grammar but knowing the difference between "you're & your", "effect and affect", and how to use adverbs are simple lessons learned in elementary school. I am

So... book 2 in this series gets a straight up 4 stars from me.

1) A lot of the issues I had re: background and set up in book 1 have been resolved. *A lot* of my questions have been answered and now, especially now that we saw snippets from Maggie's past life, I totally get Eran. So... that B- I gave on background is getting changed to an A-. Well done on that front, Ms. Author. I really liked what you did here in book 2.

2) I'm giving Maggie and Eran a solid A as characters. I really love both...more

Celeste’s review: 4.5 stars :) Indie gem! While I really enjoyed the first book, Fallen, in the Guardian Trilogy, (I reviewed it here) the second installment was even better. Now where to start? Well, maybe the cover. It’s simple and gorgeous and the symbolism is perfect. I love it! I can’t help feeling extra love towards a book when the cover does it justice. However, it’s not just a pretty little cover with nothing to back it up. Inside, Eternity is a novel that is definitely cranked up a notc...more

And it continuously gets better while still surprising me! We’re getting more deep into the world of the fallen, and we’re learning more about them and how they work. We’re learning that there’s even bigger, badder guys! All the while having characters who grab us by the hair and don’t let go! Ok that sounds painful and I don’t mean it that way. I do mean it that I was on the edge of my seat while reading and just HAD to know what was gunna happen and who would jump out of the dark corner at you...more

I'll review this as a series since I have read them all. If you like a book with gaping plot holes that goes round and round and around in circles then this is a series of books for you. But I'm going to address some issues below so spoiler alert.

1. If alterums or whatever are good souls who have fell to earth and Eran falls and is an 18 year old when he falls (the same for Gershome in book 3) then when in Paris how come both Maggie and Eran are both children who were born with parents??? I thou...more

** This review has a bit of spoilery info. **
I noticed some poor reviews of this story, book two in the series, and was not sure what to expect. I assume that they were given because of the middle of the story. Each day is pretty much the same -- Maggie and Eran go to school, they go home, they eat, Eran leaves, Maggie goes to train, and then Maggie goes to sleep and visits the other side, waking up to Eran's morning return and preparing for the same routine, again. I guess I see why some peopl...more

Maybe I've been reading too many YA series lately bc by the time I was finished, I was glad it was over. I started the Guardian Trilogy after having read Angelfall. I really enjoyed that book and this series popped up under recommended books. The reviews weren't bad so I gave it a shot. After reading Fallen I thought it wasn't a bad start to a series. It was by no means a stellar book but I was entertained enough by the story line. The whole Messenger and Guardian concept was new to me and I fou...more

This book was by far my favorite of the Guardian Trilogy. The second book delves deeper into Maggie's past lives as a messenger and her guardian, Eran. It's filled with action, adventure and suspense as darker creatures are seeking Maggie out. Creatures that can send her to an eternal death.

As Maggie visits each of her past lives to learn more about what she can't remember, she realizes that the Fallen Ones are a bigger threat to her than she thought as well as a threat to mankind.

Addicting trilogy!!! I've really been enjoying this series so far! Great characters, interesting plot, and overall very captivating. The writing isn't the best ever, and there were some random mistakes that could be distracting, but I'm loving it anyway! I wish more people knew about this trilogy.

On to start the next one!

It was much better than the first book and we learned some of the reasons Maggie was hunted by Fallen ones even though the whole concept was not very clear. I liked this book because it had action as well as sone romance and the writing was good without empty spaces. I wonder what the final one brings forward.

This series is really good. I just wish it was a little more epic you know. Where some ya books go into far too much detail, this one could afford to give us a lot more detail of this incredible world that laury falter has created. In fact it's not even the world itself, it's the characters that give the series such depth. She's managed to give them real gravitas over very few pages and even when she skims over certain plot points. The pacing is great but the book wouldn't suffer from a little mo...more

Another enjoyable installment. These characters are interesting enough to keep the holes in the plot from driving me crazy...but if you can explain their motivations to me, I'd appreciate it. That's the only real problem: great characterization and action sequences, well-written description but no satisfactory explanation about the "whys". Fortunately, the strength of the writing carries you through to the end and leaves you ready for the next chapter.

Really liked this book! I never suspected the ending, which surprised me. I love Maggie's character, and I'm glad I finally understand Eran's protectiveness over her. Felix and Rufus are so silly, and I love their characters. I can't help but be utterly annoyed with Ezra though. I feel like Maggie is 18, and should be making her own choices. Anyways, I really liked this book, and how the story played out. I can't wait to start the third book!

Omg this book was brill, it just keeps you hooked. Eran and maggie are lovely and they have such a history together. It just keeps getting better and better

I think the history left some details not very well resolve, but for me it's better that the first book.

So this one picks up in a better place. In this episode Magdalene is aware of her history, or so she thinks. Just when she thought the battle was over she realizes this may be just the beginning. But with a few helpful new friends she may be able to take on these enemies. Eran is away on research so something has to keep Mags in check. With a loyal angels aid Magdalene begins to study just how to defeat Abaddon and his ruthless minions. The twists in these stories have kept me guessing. And the...more

“You," he whispered his eyes warm and fixated on me, "hold my heart captive."
I nodded solemnly before murmuring my reply. "And I'll never let it go.”
