Isn't this just the sweetest cover!?!?! Gabby's Stick-to-it Day is the second book in the "Gabby, God's Little Angel" series. It is a story of Perseverance. I just fell in love with this book and the most important opinion for me came from my Grandaughter, Rylee. Sitting down and reading is definitely one of Rylee's favorite things to do! This is a sweet book about not giving up, even when the job is hard. It’s told from the perspective of Gabby, Sophie’s guardian angel. The pictures and the use of interesting fonts and colors kept our attention. The story was well written, short enough to not be boring or trite and long enough to be a good read. The situations that Sophie found herself in were realistic and very easy for Kahlen to relate to.

This is such a great series!! This is a continuation of Gabby God's Little Angel story and this installment is about not giving up! This is a great lesson for little ones. This is a darling read to share with your children. I shared this with my 4 and 6 year old and they were delighted with the story...they wouldn't leave things half done...no way!!
The drawings and the glitter cover really drew them in, and the use of a dog put them over the top! The kids were enchanted with the fact that they might have Guardian Angels! As the story revolves around Sophie and her Angel Gabby, and how Gabby helped save the day!

Ever since I saw Sheila Walsh at a Women of Faith event last fall, I have been a huge fan! I loved her openness and realness at the event. What an inspiration! This newest book in her Gabby series is my favorite so far. Why? It revolves around my absolute favorite verse, Galatians 6:9, don't give up...keep on doing good. What a great way to teach your kids the importance of sticking to it.

Raffles, a senior angel, was asking the Gabby and her friends about the child each angel was watching over. Gabby seemed to have a problem with the child, Sophie, she is watching over. It appears Sophie never seems to finish any task she starts. She gets frustrated and gives up too soon. This happens over and over again. Gabby is always there rescuing her from pending disasters. This is an adorable addition to the Gabby series. Not only are the illustrations big and colorful, but the story is something kids can relate to, both girls and boys. Gabby has her hands full throughout the story, but at the end, she is even closer to her little brother.

The second book in the Gabby series is a cute and fun to read as the first. The message about seeing things through, even when it's hard to do so, is an important one for all children to learn. The illustrations are as lovely as ever. Gabby is becoming one of my children's favorite characters.
A precious book perfect for reminding us not to give up and to finish what we start! This book is perfect for little ones who might get frustrated on a difficult task, and reminds us to lean on God's word when the going get's tough!
I love Gabby the Angel and I hope there are many many more Gabby books to come. Do you know a little kiddo that gets started with something, frustrated and walks away with the task unfinished?
