Young Savage by Rasheed Carter

My grandmother always told me “You cannot teach a man anything; you can only help him find it within himself”. The people in Rodney’s neighborhood called him “Savage” because of his poor appearance, but unknowingly those same people turned him into the Fierce, Violent and Uncontrollable force or simply put the Young Savage he would become.

Young Savage is a gripping tale of a young man’s survival in a world where only the strong survive. With no real male guidance a
Cold hearted.

Eleven year old Rodney Adams did not ask to be born into a fatherless home with a drug dependent abusive mother, who cared more about her multiple sex partners than washing her son's clothes and making sure he had something to eat before going off to school.

Being teased at school meant Rodney had no friends and looked to do odd jobs for neighbors to buy food.

While playing with his stray dog Bam he watches the activity in the local park. Not quite understanding what is going on, Ro

Rodney Adams is eleven and has realized that he wants no parts of his life. Where's his father? Why is his mother addicted to drugs and sex with whomever she can get her hands on. But she did nothing to feed him, which forced the young savage that he had to get it the best way that he knew how leading to a youth detention center bid. And he returned a grown man, a savage!

Story development was great in this novel, and Rodney was created perfectly. As a reviewer, I must point out grammatical issue

First, I would just like to say that this is my first book by this author and I was not disappointed!! Rasheed you are skilled with your words. It goes deep!! I wish Amazon would let us use 1/2 points on the rating scale so that I could give this book 4 1/2 stars...I say 4 1/2 stars because I could not overlook the editing errors in this book, however, that was my only issue.

I loved the way Rodney's character was developed. He was a strong main character and showed a lot of strength for a person

OMG Definitely a 5 Star Read:

Wow I just finished this book and all I can say is Rasheed put it down. This booked grabbed me from page 1. The things that Rodney went through as a young child made you want to see what type of teenager/young man he would turn out to be. When the alter ego Savage appeared watch out. I liked how the book developed the relationship between the 3woman in his life and despite how his mother treated him as a young boy (made you hate her) he stilled carried nothing but lo

"Young Savage" By Rasheed is the story of a young boy,Rodney, who was born into a life of misguidance and neglect. With an alcoholic mother who does nothing to provide for her son, Rodney dreams of the day he can provide for himself. After a chance meeting, Rodney (or Young Savage as they call him) is on a mission to prove that he can have whatever he wants no matter the consequences.

This book had you feeling so bad for Savage in the beginning but he manage to turn it around and had you rooting for him even though he was the bad guy sometimes...Nothing or Nobody got in his way when he had a plan....He looked out for those he considered real friends and did dirty those he didnt hero worship.I will definitely read part 2..I feel retaliation is coming
Young Savage was Hot! The book really took me into the world of Savage. My heart went out to the young man.He dealt with many struggles in life that many young children go through, abuse, low self esteem, and puberty. I recommend this book and I promise you will enjoy it! Thank you Rasheed, for sharing the life of Savage with me!
I did not like this book. It usually takes me a couple of days at the most to read a book. To be honest I couldn't read anymore so I stopped. I gave it 2 stars because the writer took the time to write it. It didn't do anything for me.

I struggled to get thru this book. I would've given this book a higher score if it wasn't for the editing issues
Good story, but could've done without all of the graphic sexual situations in it.
