Few writers rival the skill of Her Safari author, Lisa Mikitarian. Lisa is a master at character development and symbolism. She is adept with humor, and dialog. Quirky human behavior becomes absolutely hilarious when it comes from her pen. Other times your soul will cry over her characters and the heart-rending details she reveals. Well-written short stories create an instant environment, develop personalities, and get on with it without having to abandon reading for interruptions. The author not only wrote stories that achieved these goals, but were so varied that upon completion of one, the reader could not resist reading the next. I look forward to more collections.

I so enjoyed the stories in this book. They made me laugh, cry, and think - sometimes within just a couple pages! The women in this anthology are real, with real issues, and Ms. Mikitarian does NOT let them get off easy. Delightful book.
