This book is definelty weird because it is about vulchers. Attacking a family in a car it first started with them going down a desert road. Then they tought is was a storm buy instead it was a bunch of birds. The birds started to attack the car and then they just put the top up but that did not stop them. Then out of the blue these motorcycle people can flying down th road. Then you must read to see what happens next!

This book was okay. Four people are in a car driving down this road in the desert.
One of the guys pulls out his phone and he has an app that has a head of a raven on it. He taps on the app. A few minutes later one of the guys start noticing that two ravens are circling the convertible. He looks in the rearview mirror and sees what looks like black smoke. He tells one of the guys who said that he could see wings and they were coming fast! The ravens caught up to the car and they put up the cover

As much as I love the Library of Doom series, I was a bit reluctant about his title. Fortunately, it was charming and creepy enough to change my mind. An app that finds spooky stories on the internet also seems to summons swarms of black birds. If they find you, you disappear! The app made me think of things like Creepy Pasta that have gotten popular recently. I could see something like that turning on its young audience! The text and pictures really drive the story and will hook in reluctant re ...more

This book is about an app that tells scary stories when you tap it. When these people are driving in the middle of nowhere they have bad luck with the app and a million birds come flying to there car. Then 2 bikers drive by the car. Then the birds start chasing the bikers. The bikers finally get to an old gas station and go inside. They fins a lady who puts the birds in to a book and then the birds are all gone. The book was very quick to read and I recommend it.

This is part of the series Return to the Library of Doom. These books are very quick reads with lots of different fonts and graphics. The students in my school from grades 2 (the better readers) up enjoy these. I enjoyed this book (took less than 10 minutes to read), and I know the children will as well, though they may miss some of the humor.tyuy7
This app is one that you don't want to have on your phone since it brings to life one of the classic short stories of Edgar Allan Poe. As ravens attack a car and then two cyclists, the cyclists find refuge in a building where they meet a librarian who has just the book to hold the ravens at bay. I like the idea of a librarian being a hero, and that he is known for his ability to control books. I just wish the story had been longer and more detailed. But there are lots of neat details that pay tr ...more
