Recommends it for: idoits who want to bake

Maybe this book wasn't meant to be read straight through, or maybe I am not a complete idiot when it comes to baking. In either case, I had problems with the repetition (entire paragraphs were repeated multiple times as if I hadn't read them), the remedial information listed (I know it says it is for idiots but I find it hard to believe that even an idiot needs the term "stir" defined), and the almost complete absence of useful information.
