It is in the series of The Granger Family Ranch. Healers with wounded hearts, not sure if they can heal themselves. Adam was so stern and stalwart, while Cheyenne was a sunny and loving. Julianna was so sensitive and loving like Cheyenne, while her sister Jenny was aloof. They had been hurt when abandoned by their mother. Those little matchmakers knew what they wanted and it is Cheyenne. It almost spoiled the possibility of a relationship for their dad. Adam finally realized and let down his wal...more

Love the Grangers! Seeing Buttercup and the other cows appear again, was fun too! Reading about the Grangers always makes me want to have a pet cow! Cheyenne comes home to help out with the Vet practice and in the process tries to recover from a broken heart. Adam is only here for the summer and trying to give his children a break from the harsh reality that their mother left them. The girls met Cheyenne and get to know her because they bring in wounded critters for her to heal. Little do they k...more

Firstly thanks to Jillian for my copy of this book.

This is the latest installment in the Granger Family Ranch series. This story features the second Daughter Cheyenne who is back in Wild Horse after finishing her vet studies. Adam Stone is spending the summer with his girls to help them heal from his wife walking out on them. One of Adams girls has a real heart for injured animals and brings them to Cheyenne to help. This leads to interaction with Adam. Neither want a relationship but they seem...more

This was probably the sappiest romance novel that I have ever read. The whole thing was just filled with... well sap. There was a good story line, so I did finish it, but I'm glad this wasn't the first of Jillian Hart's books that I had ever read - because based off of it I would never read another one. I'm only giving it 2 stars because I've loved all of her other books - that and the story line really was good. It would have been an awesome book if she could have moved past how the MC's hair s...more

I really liked this book. Adam and Cheyenne both had past hurts to overcome. The children, Jenny and Julianna, were very well written and absolutely adorable. Since Cheyenne is a vet, there were many animals included in the story, and I liked that they all had names and weren't just "a dog" or "a cat" (my favorite was the bull named Shrek).

This book is part of the "Granger Family Ranch" series. It's the first one that I've read, but I would really like to read the five books that come before thi...more

It's not at all surprising that I loved this installment in the Granger Family Ranch series. Most of the things I enjoy were prominently featured: a sweet romance (actually, more than one!), a close knit family relationship, animals and animal lovers, and the antics of children. Quite an easy, satisfying read that I highly recommend.

I've always enjoyed books by Jillian Hart. I followed all of the McKaslin Clan and the Granger Family storylines. Addy's story remains in the Granger Family, but I look forward the next series as well.

Sweet story. The romance develops nicely. I would have given it four stars, but there were a couple of scenes that didn't quite fit.

Jillian Hart grew up on her family's homestead in Washington state, where she raised cattle, rode horses and scribbled stories in her spare time.
After earning her English degree from Whitman College, she worked in travel and advertising before selling her first novel.
When Jillian isn't working on her next story, she can be found puttering around her rose garden, curled up with a good book and sp...more
