This is one of my favorite cookbooks. These recipes are for real Italian food,not that Olive Garden or Americanized crap.

So far all I have done is read the recipes, there are so many great ideas in this book - I can't wait to get out my knives and pans and get going on this wonderful regional fare. The salads, the veggies.... I think I know what I will be doing with the last harvest in my garden. A lovely zucchini lasagne, some fennel... the chard, and those last tomatoes going into an anchovies salad dressing. Thanks Mr. Vetri.

I got this book this weekend and it looks fantastic! The read/reading doesn't really apply to cookbooks but I am very excited about this book!!! I need a stand mixer and attachment to start making homemade sausages!
