I was at a giant used book sale, and this title jumped out at me. Since it was only $2, I decided to give it a try. It was well worth it - a well-written story about 3 Chinese students who come to study in America complete with social satire on American in the late 1970s.

I liked this book. It's more like a short story, and a quick read. I read it in a day. That said, when our book group met to talk about it we didn't have a lot to say. It wasn't a deep, thought provoking book, but it was fun. It would be perfect for an airplane trip.
