Is BDSM my kink? Is ménage my kink? NO and HELL NO!

So yeah, this went waybeyond my normal comfort zone(s) but I still loved it, even though I don't understand the need for spankings...and there were lots of spankings but nothing more hardcore than that.Thescenes/sessions were reallyintense and they got hotter and hotterthe deeper I got into the story...once romantic emotions became involved and things started going beyond the original agreement. The early scenes don't even involve sex so there w

This book contains BDSM and M/M/M and unfortunately that means there will be some readers for whom it will not appeal. They will be missing something excellent. This book shows very clearly a menage situation where all three men are essential to the dynamic of the relationship. No pair would work in isolation, but as a threesome they click. It also gives a very good look at men for whom BDSM fills a real need, distinct from just sex.

I fell in love with all three men, needy Jay, insecure and prot

So this was a lot of things in one book. A threesome relationship, between one Dominant and two Submissives. Where the Dom was dubbed straight in the beginning.
This was actually quite light despite the premise. (outside of their encounters) Jay and Austin is already an established couple. There scenes were cute and very light.
I loved Liam. I just think he's the hottest daddy/Dom ever. I won't mind to go down to my knees for
3.75 almost 4...I really liked this book. For sure one of the best BDSM books I've read. The scenes were SO intense, and they dynamics between the three main characters was great. And the scenes were crazy HOT!

Austin and Jay are a couple they are also submissives, and the man that has been their Dom has moved away. Through him they connect with Liam who is a Dom, but also straight. They agree on some terms and begin a D/s relationship.

This book was not intense in a dark way at all, the scenes w

BDSM and D/s are not normally my scene so I suppose this was a read outside of my usual comfort zones and at first I wasn't sure I was going to enjoy it because frankly they're not subjects I've ever been able to fully understand but I've read a few Jane/ Alexa novels recently and really enjoyed them so I pressed on and I'm so glad I did.

Austin and Jay are so in love its palpable, both are subs and they need a Dom to complete them but not particularly as an extra in their bed. Sudden

Smooth,hot,rough and delicious...

I liked the equal development of the characters. Most BDSM books concentrate on the feelings and thoughts of the sub(s).To be in Liam`s (the Dom) head, seeing the scenes through his eyes, his growing attraction to his two young subs, the doubts and insecurities - for me it was refreshingly different and a joy to read.

Whelp, I’m in the minority again. Maybe it was just my state of mind but I could NOT get into this thing. I kept getting distracted, usually by gay porn, and then I got caught up in this whole “research” thing of iconic gay porn stars that are dead but still “hot”. Can I just say, Al Parker was H.O.T.!!! Damn. Epic loss. Anyhoo back to Room at the Top, when I was reading it I kept nodding off. Seriously, like 4 times! Once was even during a sex scene! I mean, I’m glad I caught up on some nap tim ...more

I'm not a fan of BDSM, but wow! I'm not a fan of threesome, but wow!
I'm happy I gave a chance to this book and I thank all my friends who read it prior to me for their reviews and comments.

The story is original: Two young men, deeply in love are in a committed relationship but are incapable of being satisfied with just each other because they are both submissive. They always need a third person, a dom. But they are never looking for a "Third" in their relationship; they just want a reliable and

I am in the minority with my rating and review; not because it’s a bad book, but because BDSM is not my favorite subject. The writing is superb and the character development is great. I love these authors’ style and will continue to devour their books. I just prefer to stay a little lighter on the spankings, if you know what I mean.

Jay and Austin were just too freaking adorable. I wanted to cuddle them up and bring them home with me. But, they are the epitome of “don’t judge a book by i

When in need of a good BDSM story cut with sweetness and served as a three-way relationship, you should look in the direction of this book. Adorable subs in need of a firm hand could make even the toughest of hearts stutter, but a good top just sets the beat straight again.

Jay and Austin are two submissive men in a relationship. They love each other deeply and they know that will never change. Unfortunately,

Liam, is the Dom I love. He's not without flaws, but he's perfect to me. Without fancy equipment or tools, he exuded a dominant demeanor which has me wanted to kneel at his feet. His creative ways to torment Jay and Austin had me panting with excitement. For a straight guy, he's physically sexual with two gay men. And I'm just fine with this.

Jay and Austin are two cute submissives who don't possess a single dominant tendency between them. They can't even switch. Poor buggers. Patrick, their ser

A solid BDSM menage story with an interesting dynamic.

Jay and Austin are in love and committed to each other. They are both subs with different needs and had a dom they would see once a week, together, with no romantic entanglements. After he moves they have difficulty finding a replacement. Liam is older, divorced, straight, but prefers to do scenes with men as they can be pushed further to satisfy his sadistic needs. This is the perfect arrangement until Liam begins to realize he has
I am super, duper picky when it comes to threesome books that I actually like, much less threesome books that I will rate 5 stars. This is definitely one of the good ones! I loved the dynamic between the two submissive MCs, already in love, looking for an extra piece to their sexual relationship, and the hard-ass, but lonely straight Dom who joins them for weekly BDSM play and eventually falls in love with them. A wonderful tale I can highly recommend to any and all who enjoy a good M/m/m/ menag ...more
This is one of the few times that I could picture the guys on the cover being in the book. That was them right there, Liam, Austin and Jay. Sometimes I have a hard time telling who is who apart in three ways, but their voices and behavior were so individual I didn't even need names to know whose head I was in and I connected with them right away. I'll agree with everyone who mentioned that April stuff was over the top and unnecessary. Pushing her aside, I enjoyed this kinky read immensely.
Why I bought the book: I really fancied an m/m/m.

Plot: Austin and Jay are very much in love, but they are both subs who need a Dom to satisfy that itch for submission but are not interested in sharing their bed with another. For a while they had Patrick, but when he moves away he leaves a hole in their lives. After a disastrous time trying to find a replacement, Patrick suggests a straight friend of his, Liam. The three hit it off straight away and things become complicated the more the feelings
Geez, the BDSM scenes in this were so good. All 3 of the MCs were such a perfect mix. Austin and Jay were so in love and so adorable. Their love was easily apparent and felt real. They realized they needed a dom and enter Liam recommended by a friend. Liam worked for them and wasn't a threat to their relationship - he added to it and made it better. Liam felt right being added in and the authors did a great job showing how he was needed for Jay and Austin. We also got Liam, a dom who had hidden ...more

A pretty good BDSM story that was mostly pretty solid. I have a quirk with liking my menage couples being treated equally and fairly so a triad containing 1 Dom and 2 subs was going to be less than perfect, for moi. My triangles need to be equilateral, hunty! I'm just built that way. *shrug*

But I was satisfied with the story, overall it was pretty good.

The issues? Small, really. April, Austin's sister irked my last nerve and had my hand aching to reach through my Kindle to smack the ever living

Two great subs that caught my heart immediately, and a Dom who captured my interest right from the start. This was a book that I read in one sitting, and will turn to again, no doubt. All three main characters were distinct personalities, and the secondary characters, while not all likable, were distinct and more than just page filler.

Jane Davitt is now an author that has been put on my auto buy list.

The characters in this felt very real and I enjoyed this a lot.

BDSM issues: (view spoiler)
Very good m/m/m romance about a sub- couple and a straight dom who finds more with them than anyone expected.

The story concentrates on the dynamics between the three men, the bdsm scenes aren't by any means "hard core", but they are detailed and there are plenty of them, so if bdsm isn't your thing I'd stay away from this one. I honestly enjoyed this aspect of the story, it was sexy and the shift from one characters head to other flowed smoothly during the scenes, and the way the authors showed
These gals are now officially on my "I will read anything you write" list.
Jay and Austin are a perfect match and madly in love with one another. One is messy, one is neat. One is noisy, one is quiet. But both are submissive. Patrick has been their Dom for years but had to move out of town leaving them empty and searching for someone to give them the release they both need. Finding someone to take them on as a package deal has not been easy but Patrick provides a solution in Liam. Liam, although
This is a wonderful & wonderfully kinky book. The scenario us just so believable too. I would love to meet up with Liam, Austin & Jay for a coffee. I want to help build the dioramas & cuddle with Austin. They were all just so 'real' given the word-smithing of the author. Don't think that the characters were too perfect tho'. Jane gave them very human frailties which just added depth to a wonderful read. Can I just add, Jane has some seriously twisted kink in her psych. The BDSM scene ...more

I'm very particular about my ménage stories. Each character needs to be equally emotionally invested: the physical and emotional love needs to be equal.

On the surface you might think these characters were not equal. After all, we've got two gay subs and one straight Dom. I accepted that because there was no emotional attachment or investment at the outset. However things quickly get clouded for all the participants.

The emotions grew, but slowly. Jay and Aust

Gorgeous writing with a similar style of D/s to Bound and Determined by Jane Davitt I found this to be just as entertaining with some of the rougher elements really floating my boat. The menage was nicely handled and I think how they authors ended the book was thoughtful and true to the characters. The building of tension was great and I just really, seriously liked this book loads. Get it. It's cool.

I really enjoyed this book. The writing was solid and the story smooth. Austin and Jay made such a nice couple. I never questioned the strength of their relationship. Liam was a nice addition. He was able to give the boys just what they needed, and as things progressed, Liam received the same. By the end, I was very happy, but I really didn't want it to end. I would love to read more about how their relationship is progressing and dealing with inevitable issues.
This is a textbook example of impeccable characterization. Austin, Jay, and Liam are individual people. People I'd love to meet and have as friends in real life. April we could have done without, though even her character is very well developed. The story, without her, had more than enough elements of conflict to keep it interesting and believable. Lovely HEA.

The sex, O. M. G., the sex. Worth the purchase price ten times over.

I have to start out by saying that I absolutely loved this book. I normally steer clear of BDSM and menage books and this one had both. It was recommended highly so I decided to give it a shot. I am so glad that I did.

This is not the traditional BDSM or menage story. Jay and Austin are in a committed relationship and they love each other dearly. They just need more. That more being controlled, spanked, submissive to a dom... together. They are a package deal. They don't want another person in th

It is rare to read a ménage romance that convinces you so thoroughly that you are reading about real people in an actual relationship, but Davitt totally succeeds. Jay and Austin work very ordinary, unglamorous jobs, and are most remarkable for being so unlike the usual novel character--I thought they were adorable in the best way. They are believably in love with each other, but with the usual problems anyone who has ever been in a serious relationship will instantly identify with: everything f ...more

This definitely had all the makings of a 5 star read for me, but I couldn’t quite go there, and I chalk it up to having a conflicted Dom.

Generally speaking, I like my Doms strong and decisive with a very big dose of affection. The fact that Liam insisted he was straight and yet preferred playing with male subs just didn’t feel right to me. It seemed he was more hung up on labels and letting other people plant seeds of doubt that didn’t belong, and these things weakened him in my opinion. I also

When I was eight I decided to write a book. I found a blank notebook, wrote 'Chapter One' at the start, scribbled a few hundred words about triplets with improbable names, and lost interest. Three decades later I still wanted to write a book, but the dim realization was dawning that meant I had to actually, well, write something.

Yes, it surprised me too.

So I did. Not about triplets, but love, angs
