One of the best books on the subject of death I ever read. Corvis Nocturnum has written a short book filled with in-depth research on some of the things we think about when we think about death such as hearses, cemeteries, and spirits to name a few. He even includes a chapters on Goths and death which was very interesting in itself.
This was a very interesting and beautiful read -not just in words but the entire book is chock full of pictures on glossy pages. The images alone could make a nice coffee table book. However, I must say that due to the images used as a faded out background for several pages, those can be difficult to read. That is disappointing and is why I give this book 4 stars rather than five. Still very much worth a read if one is interested in learning about different things surrounding the end of one's ...more
