TINY IS THE NEW HUGE!

It’s an indisputable fact: Everything is cuter in miniature. And while it’s true that knitted toys are cute to begin with, they’re even more adorable when they’re tiny.

In Teeny-Tiny Mochimochi, designer Anna Hrachovec presents more than 40 patterns for her funniest and most delightful knitted Tinys—three-dimensional animals, objects, and people, all wi

This book is soo extremely cute. It has the greatest patterns. Easy to read patterns too. I made the mini Bride and Groom for my Mum and Dad on their 15th wedding Anniversary. They turned out great! If you love knitting tiny things, then this is definitely the book for you!

Cute, but limited. there's so much you can do keeping dimensions to less than 1 inch. Quick knits! but hard on aging eyesight...lol

nonfiction. knitted miniatures. Most of these are pretty cute. I made a chicken and a gnome, and found the instructions to be pretty good (though a beginner knitting on a small scale may have trouble with the increases).
Some free patterns and lots of pics available on AH's blog: http://mochimochiland.com/

Though I've know how to knit for a long time, the last time I was inspired to knit was when I was pregnant and knitting baby socks 8 years ago. Then a friend showed me this book. I literally rushed out to order it from my local bookstore, then quickly searched through my yarn stash to see if I had any fingering weight yarn.

I am now officially in love with knitting small things. So far, I've made many gnomes, a chicken and a cupcake. The instructions are clear, and there are many pictures that h

Possibly my new favourite non-fiction book of all time! I've made 4 projects from this book already and can't wait to make more!

The explanations are detailed but concise, the photography is beautiful and the range of designs is inspired. I've never managed to find a knitting book that I get on with but this one is accessible and the length of the projects allows for instant gratification.

In all seriousness, I highly recommend this book for beginner knitters looking to make tiny adorable projects

Lots of fun with this book. So much so I'll be adding it to my library.
Patterns were very easy to follow and made for cute quick knits.
I made most of the animals for my son to play with in his gnome village
but I can see these would be very satisfying for a quick gift or package decoration.
I'm moving on to her latest book the Super Scary Mochimochi as there are some
mini's in there that I'm itching to knit.

I like this book. I'm a fan of miniatures in general, so a book enableing me to knit them was great. I'm in the process of knitting the elephant and it's not quite as easy as the author makes it look, but, I'm sure my difficulty is because I'm not used to knitting this close.
I'm looking forwards to knitting more out of the book.

Best knitting book that I have ever had. I love making little miniatures! It's even cool how Anna Hrachovec came up with the idea of knitting Mochi Mochi. You should definitely check out her blog at http://mochimochiland.com/

The patterns are adorable, and the techniques sections at both the beginning and the end are helpful for beginning knitters like me.

So many tiny things to knit! Adorable little projects, and excellent photos. Assembling toys is a challenge for me, and once again Hrachovec has included clear photos showing how to do it.
