Recommends it for:
only people who can't stand Frey, get this type of humor, and/or don't like being lied to
3.5 - I think the people who hate this book are one of the following things: kissers of Frey's ass/people who like/don't mind being lied to/people who don't have a decent sense of humor.
The rest of the world will get some laughs out of this. It's been years since I read Frey's load of crap (I feel inclined to mention I knew and spoke on the fact that it was indeed crap long before Oprah let the cat out of the bag) and I was a little nervous that I wouldn't remember enough to "get"...more

Good read although there was alot of contraversy about weather it was true or not. Even if its not all true the details made me believe it was . The dentist part is probably the best part
Not clever or well-developed, overly redundant to the point of being annoying... The idea was good but it fell short in application. It actually made me appreciate Frey's book more because I was so detached from the parody. Barely two stars. At least it's a quick read.
It was almost more painful than the original.
Almost.
Almost.
Funny mockery of a lame book I never read
I read it when it was called A Million Little Pieces. When Mother Oprah had it on her Big List. Before Mother Oprah invited the addict author on her show to humiliate him in front of millions to be sure NO ONE would ever pull that little trick on her again.....I'm not sure how that served anyone.
But whatever.
The book was entertaining AND unbelievable.
Having some personal experience in addiction and rehab....I was unmoved by his claims.
I'm not going to recommend it, but...more

Is alright
After reading A Million Little Pieces, I thought that this was hilarious.
Absolutely riveting, inspiring and gives reason to have faith in humanity's ability to wake up from a deep deep unconsciousness. I don't care about the controversy around it's label as a memoir versus fiction. Labels don't change how this book spoke to me.
I don't know what all the fuss is about; so this book wasn't entirely true. It was still a good read and he's a talented story teller. Get over it people! That's why we read, to escape from real life!
I only got past the first two pages of "A Million Little Pieces", but I could not put down "A Million Little Lies." It's hilarious!
Hysterical parody of "A Million Little Pieces"
This is a good read on many levels...
fiction or non-fiction - it's a good read.
