I'm not sure what I was expecting when I requested this book. I saw stories by Jane Green, Jennifer Weiner and Meg Cabot and thought, "Hmm, might be good." There hasn't been a story read by Meg Cabot that I haven't loved in one way or another so I didn't think I'd be disappointed in this one but once the book loaded onto my nook and I saw how many pages the entire book (all three stories plus title page, dedication page, etc...), my first thought was, "Shit."

There are 22 pages in this e-book. To...more

Hmm, this really wasnt much of a book, barely a collection of stories-they are good as magazine articles but as a collection of anything, they leave a lot to be desired. Still, as its pretty clear how its advertized as to what it is-buyer beware. My copy was free which is the only way i would have read it-it is-at the time of writing this it's $1.99 on Amazon, which there is no way i would pay for. I've had this one my to be read shelf in awhile, and it worked as a breather between stories, but...more

Cosmo's Sexiest Stories Ever from the Editors of COSMOPOLITAN is composed of three short naughty tales by famous chick lit authors Jane Green, Jennifer Weiner and Meg Cabot. I've seen Cosmo's short tales before, but this one caught my interest mainly because of the popular authors and steamy hot cover.

The first naughty tale is Sex Under the Stars by Jane Green. Maggie has fantasized about her ex-husband's best friend for three years. On a lazy evening, he shows up on her doorstep and takes her o...more

Three powerhouse ladies of Chick Lit come together in this collection of short stories that are perfect for the closing of these hot summer months, but warm enough for the winter holidays to come as well. Jane Green, Jennifer Weiner and Meg Cabot have created characters for Cosmopolitan Magazine readers and fans everywhere that will have them on their toes with anticipation for the next story in the trio. Each takes place in a different place, with completely different characters and circumstanc...more

Unfortunately these are not the sexiest stories I've ever read. I've read much sexier, steamier stories. However, I don't think this is the fault of the writers more than it's a fault of the format of the stories. They're just too short. In fact, I don't know if I'd call them stories as more than sexy scenes. I don't know the actual page count since it was only available in eBook format but it three short stories. While they each had interesting premises and the writing was well done on all of t...more

I am not sure what I was expecting with this ebook but it definitely was not what I read. The stories were dull and I would never classify them as "Sexiest Stories Ever."

Ultimately, I would not recommend this book to anyone.

you know -- saw this on the library site...it was what it was -- not genius, but 3 quick stories
Lynne
Considering there were THREE stories in 30 pages, I will keep my review equally as short.

Wham.

Bam.

Thank you, er, MAN?

Basically Penthouse Forum for women I guess! Not sure if I'm just too old for this type of format but the stories were just too short and jump to it. I need more of a plot and setup than just random sex with strangers.

The first story was ugh. It nearly made me stop reading until I realized I was already half way through the book. Meg Cabot's story was definitely my favorite. A super easy and sexy read.

These had potential, but were EXTREMELY short.
Basically felt like three short sex scene pulled out of
a book. Short stories are one thing, these were more like captions!
Danise
I was hoping for more from 3 authors I love. Basically these stories are a couple pages long, basically a chapter each, so there's really just 3 quick encounters, no story.
Catherine
Read this because it was short. If you're bored for 15mins you can read the whole thing. Good if you're at an appointment or something. But not that interesting.
Barb
I feel like i wasted by time with this book. No story line so to speak. Just short stories, that were just OK. Disappointing for Cosmo.... 3 stars

Naughty doesn't cover it. I'm almost thankful it was such a short book due to the heat it brings.

Thanks to NetGalley for the e-book!

Literally finished this in one cigarette break. Was hoping for something a little more substantial from some of my favorite ladies.

Three quick steamy stories. Not very developed plots but good if you need some quick inspiration!

I really like Meg's short stories, they are as good as her books!
Marcia
Silly but then again, the title says it all :)
