Do you believe in Fate? Do you believe in soul mates? What if there was just one man out there who was meant for you? Would you know him if you saw him? Would he know you?

Katherine didn't believe in soul mates, she wasn't even sure if she believed in love... until the night she saw him. There was something oddly familiar about his dark blue eyes, but she was sure she'd ne

Love's Fate is a touching story about two people who are meant to be together, Katherine and Michael, and their path to each other. Written from the perspective of each individual the story takes you on its twists and turns and missed connections. Tracey Smith is beautifully descriptive, sometimes a little overly so for my taste, but to each their own, in any case you have a clear sense of the characters and their love/passion for each other.

Although parts are predictable and you can see where t...more

Did you ever see a person across a room and feel an instant connection? New findings in science suggest that the natural electrical workings of our bodies create an energy field that extends beyond us. When two people meet, their fields interact. Perhaps, that is why a person can sometimes form an immediate like or dislike for another person based on the energy flowing between them. Perhaps, this is the basis for love at first sight and the concept of soul mates.

Before tragedy strikes, Katherine

Fate is a very good concept. Their meetings are unique. Like Fate was really working its best to make them meet, yet the characters were too slow or something else, like Death, interrupts so they can't meet.

It would have been very good. But it needed an editor. Or if it has one already, a better editor. The beginning of the story was nice, but then the grammar got bad. This story was one of those that had promising beginnings, then the grammar ruins it, as if the writer and/or the editor got laz...more

Book: Love's Fate by Tracey Smith

Rundown: This wonderful contemporary romance story takes you on a journey with two people who are searching for each other and fated to fall in love. Do you believe in fate? Pick up this book and you will. The story was smoothly written and flowed at a wonderful pace. I couldn't put this book down until I finished. I look forward to reading more from this author.

What I liked: I fell in love with the characters right from the start. Ms. Smith tangles you in the li...more

This is a sappy, amateurishly written love story. Although the characters are all college grads, there are many grammatical errors throughout. Here is one example--"but her and I." I do not think even a great editor could have saved this one.

Another quick read book that my mom won. The book is set so every other chapter is told from each of the main character's point of view. The story was predictable as to where it was going, but was frustrating getting there!

This book was very captivating and full of life. I bonded with each character and the plot kept me wanting more. I am so happy to hear a sequal is in progress. I am eagerly waiting for more.

Really enjoyed it! Hadn't planned to read it all the way through in one day, but couldn't put it down!

This is a story about the journey two people take to find each other and find love. Written in alternating first person perspectives, you are introduced to each character independantly and are able to see the connections that they share even before the characters themselves realize them. Many times their paths will cross, with an underlying theme of Fate drawing them together, but will they ever finally meet? Will Fate ultimately bring them together, or will life keep them apart?Once you pick it...more

An easy read. But thought it needed a little something more at the end. Maybe a chapter 25, from Katherine before the epilogue.
