This is another one of those books that is hard to put down. In fact, it had me on the edge of my seat. Kimberly Llewellyn's vision of merm

This is the beginning of an awesome series. Kimberly Llewellyn can weave character, action, and dialogue in such a way that you feel part of the story. It was difficult to put the book down, once I started. I always wanted to read "just a little bit more."

Definitely looking forward to more in this series!

Serina is an extremely successful swimwear designer that lives in a tiny seaside town where the men are disappearing. She discovers that the perpetrators are mermaids, and that it is her job as the Mermaid Catcher to stop them.

I was intrigued by the whole mermaid angle because it's not something that I come across a lot. However, this book had a lot of things that bothered me. When the wise old Japanese couple that lives in the town comes to tell her that she is the Mermaid Catcher, she so bothe

Do you like romance? Do you like mermaids? Put the two together and you have an awesome book.

Eh, it seemed really long for what it told. I liked the word "merminions", I need to get me some of those. I have never read a mermaid story before, it was okay.

"Serina didn't know what had her head spinning more, the fate of her future or Alex Waters' strong arms enveloping her body. Okay, it had to be the strong arms. Definitely, the strong arms. Now that the panic attack subsided, she found herself sinking into him a little more dramatically than necessary. But heck, it had been too long since a set of biceps pumped so hard against her and her body simply responded. The contours of his invincible pecs pressing against her made her moan. Her eyelids s ...more

BEWARE - this book is a health-hazard. Symptoms; lack of sleep.
Or at least that was my symptoms. I couldn't put the book down easily and despite it being an early morning, I still read on 'til late at night.
It was a great book. Serina was a really good character, with her sidekick Becca and her dreams of becoming successful for her mother. On the other side, you have Alex ; charming, protective and sexy all at the same time. His idea of 'bad' cop was a little skewed - more like sexy cop ;)- but

Serina is the owner of a bathing suit boutique that has a unique way of making the bathing suits look perfect on all women. She recently got out of a bad relationship and was beginning to feel like she is in heat. The good guys that aren't married seem to have left town, because prospects are beginning to look grim. In walks Alex, a sexy police officer asking about the disappearance of Sirena's ex. As the evidence seems to pile up against her, Serina has to find out who's trying to frame her bef ...more

Yet another quick, light read. It included elements of romance, fantasy, and action/adventure. As noted by the date, I finished it in just over a day, but did pretty much devote the whole day to reading. It kept my interest throughout. I liked that it was one of those books that just sort of jumps right in rather than having a lot of stuff you have to wade through before things get interesting. Quick assessment: enjoyable chick lit.

I had this on my Kindle and finally read it. I was not disappointed! From the beginning of the story to the end, I was enthralled with the characters and their development. That to me is a sign of a good book - one that you don't want to put down. I wanted to know more about Miko and BinBin, but that's why you read more of her work. I can't wait to read more!

It had a lot of potential, but I have to stop with these free romance/porn kindle books!

Siren Call is in production to be made as an audio book. Narrator is wonderful. Ought to be available by late January. Very exciting.

Witty, sexy and fun. I still think about the wildly original (and steamy!) dimple scene.

Don't bother
Not what I was expecting. If I wanted CSI I would have turned on the TV. I saw a mermaid, expected a fantasy. Should have read the blurb and the reviews.

I find myself hoping for more books in this series. Ms. Llwellyn did a great job of keeping me turning my page, I anticipated the twists and turns in the story from start to finish.
Not that great. The writing wasn't very good, the characters were pretty terrible. It didn't hold my interest and I dropped it about 50% of the way through.
