Dionysus's book was every bit as amazing as Triton and I love that it began with Triton's wedding so we got to see that Triton and Sophia did get the B&B finished and got married!

When Dionysus ran on Ariadne after sleeping with her I wanted to both hit him and hug him. I wanted to hit him for being stupid and running out on her but hug him cause of the reason behind it. His mother dying from a broken heart, wasting away as she kept watching out, yearning for his father to return to her. You...more

I was so excited about this! I really enjoyed the first book in this series so I was really excited when I found out the second one was out. I immediately downloaded it and I finally got a chance to read it. I might even like this one better than the first, though I like the cover of the first one better. I think the dynamic between Dio and Ari and between Triton and Sophia are on the same level, but I enjoyed the plot of this story a little more. And the epilogue was PRECIOUS!

I think some of th...more

I love Tina Folsom and I could not wait for the sequel to A Touch of Greek.

Ariadne decides to get back at Dionysus when he loses his memory by telling him they're engaged. He's humiliated her and used her so it only seems fair. She'll make him fall in love with her and teach him a lesson of his own. The only problem I had with that was when she was trying to teach him his lesson she seemed to be a bit harsh. How is someone going to fall in love with you when you're mean? She was definitely leavi...more

My Review:

Outright, this was just a fun and entertaining book to read. I received the first book in this series, A Touch of Greek, for review, but immediately upon finishing it, went out and bought this book to read simply because I loved the first book so much.

While I didn't think this one was quite as good as the first, it absolutely did not disappoint (honestly, I just really loved the story line premise in book #1...it would be hard for any book to compete with that book for me.) This book...more

I absolutely loved Tina's Folsom's Scanguards series, with the exception of the last one which seemed a bit trite to me. Knowing her work, I decided to give this book in the Out of Olympus series a read. I'll admit that I did not read the first book in the series because the reviews were a mixed bag and I didn't feel particularly compelled to read about Triton and Sophia. However, the description of this book and the stellar reviews piqued my interest so I decided to give it a read.

I enjoyed the...more

Oh Tina Folsom, you are one of my favorite purveyors of fine smut. Or rather, decent paranormal novels with smutty overtones. And undertones. And by "tones" I mean "hot doods" and "sexy chicas"

Let's just talk about your one major fault, ok? Just this once and we'll agree to never talk about it again. "Oozing" is not a sexy word, and not something anyone wants during sexy time. There, now lets never even think about this brief unpleasantness.

I'm pretty sure that I preferred the first volume in t...more

The second book of Out Of Olympus--and it's about the God of wine and festivities, Dionysus.

The book starts with Dionysus as Triton's best-man (read A Touch of Greek (Out of Olympus, #1)) in Triton and Sophia Baker's wedding. Oh, Mommy, Triton is such an eye candy *snaps back from my stupor* okay, let's talk about Dionysus.

Dionysus, like his fellow god friends, Triton and Hermes, is a living jerk like his father (Zeus). He plays women, he sleeps with them and tosses them away, and he feels exactly nothing. Until he meets Ariadne,...more

I was kind of disappointed with this book. I really loved the first book of the series, but this one was just an OK read for me. I couldn't connect with the female character Ariadne at all. I know the author was trying for innocent and vulnerable, but to me she came off as desperate and needy. She claims to be so in love with a man she has been seeing for only 2 weeks. She knows really nothing about him (where he came from, his job, his friends). She doesn't even know his apartment number, just...more

A Scent of Greek is the 2nd book in the Out of Olympus series by Tina Folsom and once again Tina takes readers on a wonderful journey with sexy gods and their trials and tribulations with love.

This book was pure fun from beginning to end that had me going through a rollercoaster of emotions from laughing out loud many times (I received many stares from other commuters on the train ride to and from work), grabbing a tissue during the heartaches and try...more

The follow-up to A Touch of Greek has Dionysus losing his memory along with his legendary mojo while romancing Ariadne. Dio doesn't do relationships and made his quick getaway after the traditional one-night only leaving Ariadne heartbroken and vengeful. Fate plays into her hands and he is at Ari's mercy with no memory as she convinces him that they are very much in love and neither of them wants to leave their fantastic love affair. When he learns the truth after re-connecting...more

Do not mistake A Scent of Greek with the traditional mythological tales we so loved in grade school.
Tina Folsom’s angle for Dionysus and the other Greek gods was sexy and uniquely provocative,
Ariana is the perfect scorned female with a half-baked plan to take revenge. Plagued by insecurities
and unwilling to admit what is right under their noses, the interplay between the two is enhanced
with glimpses of their internal voices, which adds to the amusement. A humorous and steamy story,
with plenty of...more

What a fun book! Dionysus, Greek God of Wine and Ecstasy, had a standing rule – one night only. The night he slept with the mortal Ariadne he had feeling he has never felt before so to protect himself from love he decided to never see her again. Fate intervened and she went to the bar he was visiting and he blow her off. The goddess Hera used her influence and two men attacked Dio in the bar parking lot. Before he regained his strength Hera took Dio’s memory. Ariadne found him and when she disco...more

The "Out of Olympus" series by Tina Folsom boasts a fun premise and an entertaining group of alpha male gods in hunky human form. "A Scent of Greek," the second title in the erotic romance series, focuses on Dionysus - "Dio" to his friends - the god of wine and ecstasy.

Dio takes after his father, the famous womanizer Zeus, and adheres to a strict one-night-only policy when it comes to women. When his best buds - Triton, Hermes, and Eros - discover that he is actually *dating* a woman, the teasi...more

This is the 2nd of the Out of Olympus series by this author. Continues the story started in the 1st book of the series.

Ariadne meets Dios and has an intense stormy short relationship. When it comes time for Dios to move on to a new conquest he gets beat up and has subsequent total amnesia. Ari finds him and d...more

I dare say I liked this better than the first!!

Ladies!! Have you ever had a guy you started to fall for and then as soon as you give him ur goods he dumps you?!! Have you ever wanted to get revenge on said loser??? Well read this and you'll get your fix!!

In this wonderful sequel to A Touch of Greek Ariadne has finally met the one. After a major heart break the previous year from her ex-fiancee she's finally opened her heart and her bed to the ultra sexy Dio. When he doesn't call her the next day...more

This is really funny. Despite the campy cover, its like Darkhunter verse merge into basic romance storyline without all the PNR in it. The book started with Dionysus decided to be total asshole to Ariadne then he lost his memory which Ariadne decided to play pay back. There's this whole great manipulation going on to keep you interested and its very fast paced. If you're depressed enough with your current reading, this book will cheer you up. Review much later... erk

Not as good as the first book. I was into the plot at the beginning, but the story started to really drag around the middle. Basically, Dionysus gets into Ariadne’s panties then promptly dumps her. Another Greek god is tired of his shit and takes it upon herself to punish him by taking away his memory then hands him over to Aridane. With a little coaxing, Ariadne gets convinced to make Dionysus's life miserable. From there the plot turns into this odd "she doesn't know, I know" situation and tha...more

After reading the first book in this series, A Touch of Greek, I immediately read the second book, Scent of Greek. I knew what the story would be about and was anxious to read it. It is an easy to read and follow story with a lot of love and passion and fantasy. Although the story was predictable, I think most romance stories are, it was fun to read. But who wants to read a romance story that ends badly or sad anyway? Recommended read for fantasy romance lovers.

This is the second book I have read by this author (the first being it's predecessor in this series). I have to say that it will definitely not be the last. After reading so many stories of vampires, werewolves, and demons, the concept of the Greek gods I remember learning about in high school English class starring in romance novels was quite intriguing. I was not disappointed. The characters were interesting, the situations humorous, the romance tender, and the sex was hot, hot, hot. What more...more

I love Dionysus! haha. I never thought i would. LOL .. after reading about him in Percy Jackson, i just didn't think i would love him. Anywayyy.. his story is such a fun one. I laughed hard at some scenes. I love how he and Ariadne got together. Ooohh i just love happy endings! ^_^
Amy
Dio was all about the one night stand. He did not want to get his heart broken like his mother. Ari did not think she could trust another man after an awful experience. Dio lost his memory and Ari took advantage of the situation. But neither one knew if the could trust each other.

This book picked up where the last one left off with Dio and didn't disappoint. I really enjoyed the story line and the way the characters evolved. I found this book absolutely addicting and I am so glad that I read it. I am so hoping that Tina writes another book in this series, because I absolutely LOVE the way she spins Mythology. :)
Nina Pedrosa
Thought the first one was better, but the couple was really cute together. Just thought the conflict was a tad rushed by the end of the book and quickly resolved too, not that I like a filler, but I think the author could've developed it better.

Since our club accidently picked the first book of this series I just had to go ahead and finish the second book. It was short and a typical romance novel.

¿Qué puedo decir? Fue una mejora del primer libro ^^ Son libros para pasar el momento, nada más. No se esperen una gran historia ni nada por el estilo :P

i like Mr. D, not so sure about Ariadne at the beginning, but she turn out OK in the end. Hera is still a bitch, Zeus a tomcat and love the scene when Mr. D served the Olympians at Natalie's cafe!

Loved this story although to short but can't for the rest of them!! Way to write Tina got me in one setting which is rare to read nowadays.
