Warning: Layla is a teaser. Well it is actually a short prologue to a new series by Adrianna Morgan.
This short story is fantastic. The main characters are well developed and the story leaps out into the readers imagination. Filled with vivid imagery Layla is a fantastic read.
If this short prologue is any indication, the Blue Moon series is going to be fantastic. Now to anxiously await book one….

Layla is a short story (~3,000) and is the prologue of the Blue Moon Trilogy. Every 19 years a blue moon occurs on New Years Eve. Those with Werewolf blood are imbued with incredible power. But they are also at their most vulnerable. Layla is about to turn 10. She has no idea of her family history or her famous lineage, but there are others in the dark who know. And are waiting.

Really interesting book...it was kinda short, but it is the prologue to the series. The heroine, Layla, is so young and is still able to deal with turning into a Werewolf and trying to defend her mother. Morgan is a new author, but I think she is doing a great job! Can't wait to read the other books in the series to see how Layla fares when she is all grown up!
