Yes, that's about as good as you're going to get from me. I had to find something positive to say.
What a difference a week makes, I guess. It's been several days since I left Crow's Row unfinished (see first half of review below). Crow’s Row is not a solid 4 stars book but I must say that I CANNOT wait for the sequel. The end was just GREAT but I had some issues with the story. Let’s start!

Why did the story have to end there?????? WHY??!?! OK, so this is all actually totally my fault. I knew what the ending was and that it was a horrible cliffhanger before I started reading this but it still punched me in the gut!! Dear. lord. *sniffle*

La autora de este libro ha jugado con mis emociones como ha querido; lo primero que hice cuando termine es ir a ver la fecha de publicación para el segundo. Leí que aún no hay fecha exacta y quiero llorar más. Encontrarme con Crow's Row ha sido increíble. Los personajes me han hecho sentir parte de sus vidas y cuando eso pasa lo celebro. Hockley has written a riveting love story. I was captivated from the very beginning and loved every minute of this novel, even the ending, though it angered me and even made me cry. Leaving my emotions raw, Hockley has created a very powerful novel, and though the male lead, Cameron, is a crime boss, making tough decisions that occasionally end in the death of someone, he’s hard not to like.

Cuando vi la portada de este libro pense que iba a ser otro libro paranormal, pero ¡NO! me equivoque completamente, trata un tema de pandillas y droga lo que comunmente se da por todos lados, en fin, la historia te atrapa desde el primer momento y el romance ni se diga, aqui los personajes no se quedan junto desde el primer momento o se enamorar no su amor va creciendo conforme se van conociendo.

Crow’s Row will leave you speech less. Let’s get this out first, you will either like or hate the book. I really enjoyed Julie Hockley’s writing style. I get it, it makes sense and it’s just so emotional, passionate, you just can’t get enough of it. Some people will find the writing slow, but I liked the pace. I really got a grasp of Emily and Cameron’s relationship.

I must admit it did take me a while to get into this book, but once I did your on a roller coaster journey that becomes addictive, the amount of emotions you are put through whilst reading this is mindblowing to say the least, at times this story is light hearted, frustrating, thought-provoking, and heart breaking..
The ending blew me for a sixer I did not see that coming, it was emotional and gut-wrenching. And definately left me thinking for hours after I had finished this book..

OH MY GOD WHERE DO I EVEN START?! I loved loved loved loved loved this book. I laughed, cried, gasped, and even, at one point exclaimed "what the fu** is going on?!" Didn't love it. The Heroine was way annoying to me. Could have been my mood but it felt like this book was redundant. We get that she wants to be a big girl and do things on her own. That would be good if she had a clue. Bless her heart she just does not get it. Her decisions are so outrageous that you find yourself wondering why she's still alive at one point.

The book was fantastic all the way through....right until I got to the last 2 chapters and epilogue...It had me sobbing my eyes out for about 15minutes, it was just so damn sad. WHY CAMERON?! WHYYYYYYYYYYYYY!! dammit Julie Hockley, I just wanted a happy ending for Emmy.
I hope Julie Hockley is typing with fingers of fury because I can't wait for the sequel! The suspense was great, I never predicted what was coming next. I did wish that it was a little bit more detailed and steamier in the Emily and Cameron department. The ending was gut wrenching to read but only set things up better for the sequel. (I semi hope that Emily becomes some kick ass heroine with gun and martial arts skills ready to take revenge ha ha!)

Holy Cameron Hillard! I finished this book in five hours! OH MY FREAKING GOD I loved it so much. It's as bad-ass as Young Love Murder. The characters are well developed and are so unique they could stand on their own. While reading it, I had a roller coaster ride of emotions with so many loops like a million loops. Ok....I had high hopes for this book & honestly the story was there. It had potential, maybe if someone else wrote it:-/ Here's my problem(s): Cameron is a MOB BOSS so act like one!!!!!!! Not really what I expected. It was kinda boring, I even considered stop reading it, but when I start a book I have to finish it, unless I give up in the first chapter (but that ones don't even enter my read list).
The love story wasn't very convincing. I'm getting tired of female characters that think that the boy they love is a god and that they are trash. I mean, the guy was a criminal, he wasn't perfect.

I will be honest, I was prepared to hate this. I read a bad review and it sounded like everything I hated in a book. I'm not even sure why I gave it a try, but I am so glad I did.
It took me a while to get into it, but I think it was more real life getting in the way of reading it in one sitting, than me not being interested. I loved it. It was everything that I didn't expect it to be.

How have I survived this long without reading Crow's Row? Okay, so I'm being a tad melodramatic but I just LOVED this book! I mean, can't put it down - can't breathe - don't want to talk to anyone until I'm finished - LOVED this book! “How do you know when you're There, I had once wondered. Maybe you're lucky enough to notice the moment it's happening to you. Maybe you're able to block out all the other stuff that is, in the end, just background noise. But, most often, you don't know that you were There until you lose it, or until it gets taken away from you.
