You see this sexy, hard-bodied male-specimen that graces this cover? Well, that man does not exist in this book. Talk about disappointing. Yes, yes, I know, don't judge a book by it's cover but ladies, come on! You can't tell me that when you see a ripped body like this that you don't think there's going to be some hot sex between the two protagonists of the story, Matt and Autumn, do you? Hate to be the bearer of bad news but except for some kissing, there's none, zero, zilch. I didn't even fee...more
A good amnesia story - has all the right elements with a hero who thinks he might be a bad guy and is gradually regaining his memory. Just the right amount of angst as he remembers who he is and his awful childhood. The story is told from several different points of view, which help heighten the suspense of know just why the hero had been captured in the first place. The shifts in viewpoint were confusing but I think that added to the confusion the hero is feeling and it worked well for me as th...more
Reading books in the third person is not typically my style and therefore it made it difficult or me to get into the story, but once I got into it I liked it. The plot was fairly predictable and the characters were a little flat and I felt they required a bit more fleshing out for my liking. The plot itself was interesting, but lacked a little in description at certain points.
Overall a likeable, but not necessarily loveable book for me. A solid 3/5.

I like to think my novels are overpowered by one thing that we all need to survive, let alone breathe; and that is love -- a touch, an emotion which makes life bearable and worthwhile. For all of us know that through pleasure and pain, it is in our deepest despair that we acknowledge, appreciating the life given. Every element of who we are when stripped away, purifies us until there is nothing le...more
