I am really enjoying this series as a whole, BUT... Angela hated Hollywood, so it is beyond me why the title is called "I Heart Hollywood."
What I liked:
- The blossoming romance between Alex and Angela. We are somewhat in the dark throughout the book about Alex's real feelings for Angela, but they are brought to light in the end. Which is what every girl dreams about!
- The fantasy of a hot, charming Hollywood movie star falling in "love" with you.

What I didn't like:
- I felt as if James

Angela Clark can't believe her luck - she's an English girl living in New York with a dream job and a sexy boyfriend. Her latest assignment takes her to Hollywood. Will the sun-drenched glamour of Hollywood win her heart?

I want to like these books more but maybe my cold heart is preventing me to. Maybe I lost my Peter Pan never grow up attitude and that's why I don't love these books. I just find part 1 and 2 of this series unrealistic to the point that it's not enjoyable. Part 5 was great and I
I don't get why this book is called I Heart Hollywood when all Angela does is talk about how much better New York is and how much LA sucks.

Also, Angela's just too self-centered and selfish for me to care about at all. She might be a realistic portrayal of some women but certainly not one I want to read about, much less root for. She calls her boyfriend a jerk just because he won't spend every moment with her on the phone. Yet she's romping around, getting drunk, treating her friend like dirt, a

I thought I loved I Heart New York, but I’m pretty sure I loved this sequel even more! I Heart Hollywood was fast paced, equally, if not more hilarious and I couldn’t put this fabulous chick lit down.

This novel takes place in just over a week and it speeds along, including a twist I wasn’t expecting. It was laugh out loud funny and I couldn’t help but giggle frequently at Angela’s antics. She’s disheveled, a bit ditzy, and fully flawed, but completely lovable.
A quick and easy read. It is funny like I Heart New York but I didn't like it quite as much. A little frustrating at times (especially our heroine and her best friend Jenny). Things seem to just fall in their laps and all they do is complain and get drunk (mostly). The twist concerning James was good, but some of the characters, like Jenny and Angela, were not as likeable as in the first book. They have no freaking idea what they want, Angela doesn't know who she wants, what are they doing. I fel ...more

I LOVE Lindsey Kelk! The 'I Heart' series is one of the best series that I have read. In this book we follow the main character of the series, Angela Clark to the wonderful land of Hollywood! She is join by her dreamy sexy boyfriend Alex Reid and her crazy funny best friend Jenny Lopez. The characters are amazing they are described so well that it feels like you actually know them, they are the kind of people that would m

Book Review: I Heart Hollywood @ai-books

I heart Hollywood is the second of three books in Lindsey Kelks I Heart series. I was hooked to read on Angela’s adventure after the first book, I Heart New York. Well, I did read the fourth book first. I guess, that lead me to wanting to read the rest of the series.

I liked James Jacob and his assistant, Blake from the very first start. The conversation between Angela and James was funny most of the time. Although, I have to say that Angela’s characterizat
This book is a part of the series "I heart..." by Lindsey Kelk. I read the first book and I liked it. Way more than this one. It was more realistic and fun. It was fun to read about NYC, Angela's adventure and her struggling to find her way in this city. I think this sequel is bad. It was nice to read about her in the first book, but in this one no. There's this sentence in Caitlin's review which I totally agree with: "Angela's just too self-centered and selfish for me to care about at all. She ...more

Toppertje!

Lighthearted, flirty and fun.
Kelk’s prose are so easy to read, I could enjoy this book whether I was reading it for two minutes or two hours. It was so easy to sink back into it’s pages and get lost in Angela’s whimsical adventures, and I love that about this series. Her portrayal of Hollywood is not quite as positive as New York and so I don’t really think I’ll be making a trip there anytime soon! Whether the portrayal is correct or
I enjoy reading chick-lit every once in a while and I had lots of fun reading I heart New York and I heart Vegas. I heart Hollywood just wasn't my cup of tea. It's possible that because I knew from I heart Vegas how the story with James would end I had less fun reading it.
But I also had several other problems with this one. I found the explanation why James wanted Angela as reporter extremly unconvincing. Knowing how the story would end I always expected another twist to this explanation but the
I HEART HOLLYWOOD, by Lindsey Kelk, is the continuation of Angela's new life in New York City as a magazine blogger. With her new rocker boyfriend, Alex, and BFF Jenny Lopez at her side, anything is possible for this English girl. Her dreams seem to come true when she is asked to interview the hottest celeb in Hollywood. Complications arise (as always it seems to around Angela) and hilarity ensues in this sequel to I Heart New York.

Angela Clark stole my heart again! Her ridiculous antics and utt
i previously read i heart new york and loved it!! so when i saw that there was a sequel out i couldn't wait to pick it up and read it. its amazing even if you haven't read i heart new york you get enough background knowledge of the characters. this is an easy read that will get you gripped you'l fall in love with the characters and with hollywood. A must to cheer up the autumn day.
Angela is asked to go to LA to interview some famous actor. Many things happen to her over there, Angela's adventures :)) !! You can imagine what i'm talking about !! :D :D :D

This book was really good.

I would have given it 5 biggg big stars if the end would have been written in a more interesting way :). I say this because the book has been really interesting all the time but the end has been kind of depressing somehow. This is no spoiler, since good and bad things happen all the time, we're ta
In ‘I Heart Hollywood’, Angela goes to Los Angeles to interview a mysterious celebrity, James Jacobs after she is specifically chosen by him. Her friend Jenny tags along and together they drink a lot and have plenty of trouble involving men.

For real.

Once again, everything happens way too easily for Angela and almost the entire book is completely unrealistic. Suspension of disbelief close to a 100% will be required. All Angela does is get drunk repeatedly, waste tons of money on branded goods, re

Angela is back and this time she must go to hollywood until one week to interview James Jacob a super hot british actor. But this is Angela and she is so naïve sometimes. In this book Angela is busy in Hollywood with a superstar and it’s going to turn out difficult for her, for her relation with Jenny and of course for her relation with Alex.
Jenny is with Angela at Hollywood but Alex isn’t.
I like the way the author develops Angela whether it is personally, professionally, friendly or lovingly.

This is the second in the "I Heart" series by this author. This book is a UK import as she is published in the UK and not in the US.

Even though this is a second installment, it is not necessary for the first to be read before this one is. It may enhance the reading experience, but the author does enough of a recap in this second book to cover all necessary bases.

My largest disappointment with this book was actually the character of Jenny Lopez, which is surprising because she seems to be a fan

I really enjoyed it, I didn't read the first one (I Heart NY), I didn't know it was a series, I just picked this up in the library and go....:)

This book reminds me of Sophie Kinsella's "Can You Keep a Secret?" Angela has a very similar personality with Emma (from Can You Keep a Secret?) , bubbly, genuine, and fun. I rate this book 4 out of 5!! It was a good read, and the only reason I am not rating it a 5 is because of Alex's reaction..being such a j*** when he was in NY, no texts, no calls (wel

Suspension of disbelief is definitely required when reading this series! A hot musician, a wealthy business man, an A+++ actor? Plus being able to afford a Manhattan Apartment, her amazing wardrobe, much less a coffee in a bloggers salary? I don't care. I love her and she gives me hope that someone other than a size 0 might actually be able to accomplish amazing things in life.

As a whole, I enjoyed the book, though kind of lost interest after the plot twist as I felt it was a little too unrealistic. Whilst I liked the story, and loved the attraction between Angela and James as well as the relationship between Angela towards the end of the book, some things did niggle away at me:

* For a grown woman, Angela binge drinks far too much.

*Alex forgave her way too easily. There she was whoring it up all over LA, and he just let her get away with i

What an amazing, enjoyable read. I highly recommend this book along with all the other books in the "I heart" collection. This book is a fun and easy read. It is about a girl named Angela who has moved from England to New York after she caught her boyfriend cheating on her. In New York she now has a boyfriend, Alex who she is afraid to say the 'L' word to.

Moving on, Angela is blogger and she has been given a once in a life time chance to fly to Hollywood to interview movie star James Jacobs (wh
