This is sort of like the "Where's Waldo" Books, but instead your looking for Asterix and his friends. I found this book very difficult, but my 8 year old loves it, even though have the time we can't find what we are looking for.

The pages are bright and colorful and fun to look at either way. We usually end up getting lost in the stories we make up about what's happening in the picture.

I have a vague memory of growing up with Asterix myself as a kid, so I think that's why I enjoy it as well.

Sad that it's just rehashed pictures, but still fun to play with.

Read & reviewed for The Bookbag.

It's basically Where's Wally, only with Asterix, and if you don't think that's the best idea ever you're wrong. Plus, there's a topless lady in the Slave Market so you can always try and find that if mustachioed Gaulish men aren't your thing.

This was surprisingly difficult on the whole, and though there obviously isn't much to the book it's still worth having if you're an Asterix fan.

OK, so this is definitely a where's wally (waldo) clone. But a fun one that really tests your knowledge of the characters in the stories.
