Hunter is a man who has everything, or so he thinks. Money, success, looks, brains, he believes they are all he needs for a happy life. But love? That’s a sucker’s game. Pro athletes fall to his charms, but he never lets any of them get too close.

Then life throws him a curve when his best friend, the pitcher for his baseball team The Legends, comes to him for help. Life, h

3.50 stars

Totally porny and fun but I grew rather fond of Hunter- who seemed to have an inordinately huge amount of spare time for a youngish slut millionaire who owns sports teams and hotels and restaurants. Perhaps it's not quite worthy of four stars but damn, I've enjoyed myself immensely today. So, what the hell...right book, right time = happy reader :)

3.5 stars. The story of the sexual predator who fails for an unattainable love is not uncommon in modern romance, and lends itself well to gay fiction, with the explicit tension between gay and straight desire. I liked the author's previous book, so I picked this one up hoping for the same level of enjoyment. Overall, it delivered. I was especially amused by the main character's unrepentant modus operandi, offering fixer services to professional athletes in return for sexual favors, but only if ...more

OK. So a heavy-on-the-sex-male-testosterone-perspective-kind-of-story. It's not romantic. It's like at a minus-ZERO on the estrogen-Richter-scale.

It is what it is. Like the whole way through.

However, there's something to be said for the male written prerogative and viewpoint. It's pretty primal aaaand pretty authentically sexy.

Hunter is a corporate shark guru that fucks his teams (he owns several) sports stars like typical mergers and acquisitions.

..I love professional athletes because

No no no, I just can't finish it.

Ok it's fun, lighthearted, fantasy erotica in a realistic setting (read:PWP), but something this over the top just needs to be a short story. I feel like I'm reading penthouse fantasies , but that it's a really really long one.

Thoroughly enjoyed the book. Topping professional athletes is a hot subject and I like that the central character is less than perfect. I like the idea of domination coming from within and not because of muscle. A few "facts" seem off and there's a few typos here and there but they don't detract from the book. And the sex scenes? Smokin'

I couldn't decide between two and three stars.

I knew this was going to be a porny book but I guess I wasn't expecting quite what I got. I've read books that I considered to be PWP before, books with slutty characters and a lot of sex. This one really took the cake. I don't think it was the sheer volume of sex that caught me off guard, but the situations surrounding the sex that were just so completely ridiculous and implausbile that it really was just like watching a porno. Which isn't my thing.

I try to write a review for most of the books I read, but I'm really bad at it. It doesn't matter if I like or hate the book I find it hard either way, that brings me to this book. The first third of the book I really didn't like much, not sure why it just didn't grab me like I like my books to do. The second third turned around and I really loved it, then the last third was a bit disappointing so I just thought about it for the day and realized I thought about the book a lot. SHOOT I had ...more

This is not a romance. Its a book about this guy who has sex a lot..... in the end he finds someone who kinda loves him and wants to have lots of sex too... with people and him of course... *rolls eyes* A redeeming thing about this book is the safe sex. It seems to be overlooked by ALOT of authors when they write about same-sex relationships. Oral sex CAN transmit the HIV virus. It is less risky than Anal but there is still a RISK. Next to no people seem to realise that, which I find frightening ...more

4.5 stars. This was different for me. Hunter was kind of a slut/player, but he did a lot of matchmaking, which realy made up for all of his sleeping around. I realy enjoyed the story and I fell in love with some of the characters, this was a great read.

D. River has been writing for many decades, and most of it is filthy, dirty stuff that you absolutely shouldn't read. Highly-trained experts have successfully quarantined most of that work to keep innocent bystanders from debilitating cases of blushing.

D. River started putting out books for sale with Wild Horses. Since no one told him to stop, he went on to publish other novels, including the popu
