Funny, I just read the description of this book that GoodReads uses. It is nothing like that at all. I don't know what book they are talking about, but it sure isn't the story of Rolf and his dog Skookum-chuck.

An excellent and wonderfully told story with how-to instructions for a variety of outdoor skills, such as building a teepee to a bow-drill fire starter. I was surprised to see find this book on goodreads. I was even more surprised to find an edition published recently. The copy that I own...more

One of my favourite books, when i was young. I really enjoyed whole story, it was amazing and for me ( i was 10 years old) very strong story.
