I have to say that even with its flaws which were not many I really liked this book and the main characters Delight and Simon. The characters and even the supporting cast were like watching an old western and that is a compliment.

Outlaw’s Delight is an enjoyable interracial, historical romance that takes you back in time. The characters show real bravery and endurance and Delight in particular is an exceptional woman. She manages to survive on her own in a very harsh place. She uses a delicate balance of cunning and charm to maintain her tenuous hold amongst some very rough characters. It was my first Dahlia Rose novel. I liked the strong heroine. She carried the story for me. I also liked the wild west setting which was different from others I've read and reminded me of spaghetti western movies I watched as a child.
