This is a better book than its first predecessor Ceritalah 1: Malaysia in Transition; the writer is ten years older, better travelled, more direct in his writing style and sharper in his observations and anecdotes. The writing is functional rather than fantastic -- there are few or no Southeast Asian journalists who are fantastic writers -- though this is possibly partly due to their writing for a domestic audience. Buku ini mengupaskan berkenaan situasi politik di Malaysia ketika sebelum, semasa dan selepas PRU-12 tahun 2008. Pendirian penulis dijelaskan secara jujur dan adil tanpa memihak kepada mana-mana pihak sama ada parti pemerintah mahupun pembangkang.

Buku ini dihasilkan berdasarkan artikel-artikel penulis dalam beberapa media yang dikumpul dan disusun mengikut peristiwa yang berlaku. Apabila membacanya, tidak dirasai bahawa pembaca sudah jauh tenggelam dan tidak sedar telah mengusaikannya :)
