Lord Fai has come to Earth to retrieve his mate…

description

Women are rare in his planet, and Earth has plenty of women to spare. The Seer has prophesied that Lindsey is his mate. Will Lord Fai be able to seduce Lindsey enough to consummate their relationship?

Solid 2.5 star read. This was a short sexy story about an alien coming to Earth to retrieve his mate. This was fun and short enough to read over morning coffee, or just before bed.

I wish this would have been longer! The plot was funny, with Lindsey's denial and intoxicated behavior, absolutely refusing to believe anything except the stripper scenario. Got giggles out of me! Lizzie Lynn Lee has a nag of writing funny, sexy stories that cover whole range of genres, but all have erotica and romance in common!

Despite the absurdity of the situation the novella was definitely erotica, from well hung alien kings to cold showers! The story was sexy! It could have been longer, and

Short story about Lindsay, who is abducted by a very hot alien on her 30th birthday. She has been chosen to be mated to him. Lindsay is drunk and thinks he's a very sexxxy stripper, messing with her mind.

The dialogue is very funny at times, and the story enjoyable. The biggest problem for me is that it really was too short.

This is a VERY short story, but since it was free I won't complain too much about that.

This was a fun read.

This short story was a surprise for me. I didn’t think I would enjoy it as much as I did. This is mainly because (1) I’m not into sci-fi and (2) aliens and hotness are two words that don’t correlate for me. However, after having read Obsidian my opinion is starting to change and that’s really why I checked out this short story.

Lindsey is a funny heroine. On her 30th birthday she’s all ready for her party and her stripper, but instead what she gets is kidnapped by a hot chauvinistic alien. What

She thinks he is a stripper, but he is an alien who kidnapped her, because she is his mate.
So when he doesn't strip, but does want her in his bed she is confused.
The mix up and what they say to each other is a fun read.

But soon she doesn't care that he isn't stripping, because he is really hot and is taken her hard.

When she realizes he is an alien she wants to go back to earth. Back to her normal life. But there she finds out she is missing him. Luckily for her he doesn't give up on her and come

Lindsey is having a 30th birthday party and ordered a stripper. Instead of a stripper, Fai comes to take Lindsey home as his chosen bride. Lindsey still thinks he's a stripper deep in character. Funny story - 26 pages so a little better than the other short story I read by her that was only 9 pages. But again, would have enjoyed another 50+ pages. 3.5 stars

Ha! Seriously, this was a good read for me. Any story in which the main characters have so much fun having sex is 5 stars in my book.

"Aww, you're mad. Does this mean we're going to have some growly angry sex?"

Ummm yes, please! Lord Fai, you can kidnap me anytime!

Somehow this is how I imagine things would go for me if I ever had an alien encounter. I would probably be even snarkier! But I would def play along if he were that hot!!!

Erotic short story with hot sex and a self-entitled, whiney female lead. I was very annoyed with the female character.

It was a OK short story. The cover is extremely sexy. I liked it overall for a quick read.

It was good, very short and quite funny. For some reason I wished that it was longer though.

Lindsey is kidnapped by a hot guy and boinked and that al she wrote folks.

When I saw the title for The Alien King and I, I thought cool and new spin on the classic The King and I, staring the hunky Yul Brynner. Boy, was I disappointed, all I got was a very hot steamy sex scene and then a drawn out, boring and anticlimactic ending with absolutely nothing good in between. Lindsey may as well just be a hooker given the lack of substance to give the story anything of value.

*Warning: NOT FOR THE MODEST!

I really enjoyed this short story. The passion was intense, the characters were interesting. I don't read erotic tales but this one was certainly worth an exception.

First off, I loved how the author played on the fact that aliens look nothing like the frequent description conjured by the media. They in fact look tantalizing, intriguing, hot, and very much human. Take Fai for example. The lord sought out a human mate and found one in the fierce and witty Lindsey.

Borzalmas!!! Nem is tudom mire adtam azt a fél csillagot?!?! Talán a karácsonyi hangulat teszi :D :D

Short story of the scifi romance kind.

King Fai, turns up at Lindsey's 30th birthday party, when everyone is expecting a male stripper.

He's not expecting a drunk girlie and she's not expecting an alien king.

This is one of those stories that could of been turned into much more than just a taste. But as it is free, I suppose we can't complain.

I enjoy Lizzie's ideas and will be reading more from her.

The Alien King and I by Lizzie Lynn Lee

This ‘quickie’ was an okay read. The premise of the story is what drew me to pick it up and the fact that it was free however the writing style was a bit to choppy for me. It would have been better if the 20 so odd pages were all about one scene and describing it fully versus trying to fit a story in so few pages. It might have produced a better read for me.

Well, this sci-fi romance is one short story! I was totally engrossed when it all just abruptly stopped, The end was no ending at all! I hope there is a part two? Loved the story line, but not a big fan of how the story is narrated. It is being told by the heroine, but it is an "I said" then "He said" kind of format. It sounds rather amateurish. Outside of the abrupt and quick ending and the rather generic narration, this beginning has me hoping there is a follow up book.

This is a book I saw very shortly after it came out and have really wanted to read it but it never came up on a site that I actively buy e books from. Today I saw it was free and did go to the smashwords site to get it.

Happy happy joy joy turned into wtf????? The tease for this was very well written and drove me nuts. The actual story..... My momma taught me that if I can't say anything nice don't say anything at all.

GAAAHH!!!!!

I couldn't get enough of the short stories of LLL!!! Some of them are just okay, some are good and definitely this one awesome!!!

I really like the imagination and though this is somewhat short its beautifully laid out and describe good.

But being kidnapped by a hot, gorgeous male king alien is freaking awesome!!! Kinda hesitant witht the sci-fi idea but this story is very good!!!

But it was cut short and I want more!!! I need a sequel!!!!

Overall I liked it. I am really starting to like sci-fi literature. A common complaint of mine is I wished it would have been longer. It was a good story, but would have been better with a little more meat. You did not really get any character development. It was more just a quickie with an alien and a human with an HEA. Good for a quick read.

I'm not sure if this is funny, actually. It was more like hilarious! I mean, Lindsey is crazy and the whole alien-abduction thing was unbelievable. I know it's not supposed to be grounded on reality, so I'm giving this 3 stars.

It's a short story, and believe me when I say that it's not smut. So there...

Could have been soooo much better!

This needed way more information to make much sense at all. And the 'sex' scene, yeah...um... that just came across as PAINFUL.

Wish the author would have spent more time on this one. It had potential.

I think this book was just a little short and too rushed through for me to really like this book. I really feel as though if the author would have spent more time in the beginning going into to some details as to what going on I would have like this book more. It was just missing something for me

The book was so romantic and funny that i felt that the author was very describtive about the thin line of love and hate that Lindsay had for Lord Fai. I wouldnt blame her for protesting to back home on earth.

I have to admit the first time I read an alien novel and the language dialogue is correct in its portrayal of the actual 'alien' and 'foreign' concept :D It made me laugh.

A great short read!
