Why I love my Daddy is a sweet book with lovely illustrations by Daniel Howarth. Each page finishes the sentence, " I love my Daddy because..." and a different animal from the animal kingdom is pictured with a special trait that a child loves about their dad too.

Our favorite is the lion, because both of the kids love to let out a loud "ROOOOAAAAR!" when we get to that page. It is also fits their daddy... "I love my daddy because... he is big and strong."

Children love their daddies for lots of reasons!

Their daddies play with them, keep them safe and cozy, give great hugs, etc.

The loving relationship between a father and his child can be seen in each beautiful illustration!

I teared up near the end of this book. It was on the bargain book shelf at Borders, and so my expectations were kind of low when we read it to Lydia...but this is a really sweet book with lots of fun pictures!

This is a sweet collection of children's reasons for loving their daddies, in their own words. It's beautifully illustrated, and my son loves looking at and talking about all the animals.
