With so many vampire and were-animal fantasy stories out there, it is refreshing to see a new twist on the whole take of this popular theme, keeping the story individual and fresh. Though I may personally prefer wolves to cats (don’t hate me because I’m a dog lover), I can’t deny my fascination in a story that centers on a form of were-cats in the mix of the vampires.

With so many vampire and were-animal fantasy stories out there, it is refreshing to see a new twist on the whole take of this popular theme, keeping the story individual and fresh. Though I may personally prefer wolves to cats (don’t hate me because I’m a dog lover), I can’t deny my fascination in a story that centers on a form of were-cats in the mix of the vampires.
I've followed this story right from Moon Rising. I love Nessy in this series, she starts out naive and learns manu valuable lessons along her journey eventually ending up a strong female lead character in this one Golden Horizons.
If you havent already brought the series then you should do, it is well worth the money.
