I got the book to help brush up on my French in preparation for a vacation in Paris. It helped bring back familiarity of the language to me. I received a degree in French from college in 1970 but have used it only several times when on vacation. I found the book easy to read and understand.

Christine Tiday found her love of languages in her grandparents' camper in the early 80's. Singing songs in French and learning to count before hitting the Canadian border provided hours of fun for the young traveler whose summer destinations were historical societies scattered coast to coast. Christine loved these trips with her grandmother, Suzanne Hilton, author of non-fiction works.
