Cowboy Up
Anna doesn't do long distance relationship or cowboys. But when mister tall, sexy cowboy comes to her rescue time and time again she can't help but to fall into bed with him (and fall for him). But it turns out Mike is a championship bull rider.
I liked this story just because I love a guy who always comes to the rescue! The heroine has a very leveled head and even though she keeps shooting down Mike, she does it with politness which I really liked.

I was not into cowboys at all, but after this trio of steamy stories, I am now! Cowboy Up is the first and my favorite. Anna was not going to have anything to do with Mike and refused his courteous offers three times before being forced to accept his hospitality. Mike is sooooooo hot. He is my vision of the perfect cowboy: gentlemanly, chivalrous, and gorgeous. The sex was pretty steamy and there is a little story to give it substance.

Anna & Mike know each other for all of 24 hrs before he bares his soul and they discuss the possibilities if a long-distance relationship. Really?!?! Though there were good moments, I just couldn't accept the story...

Oh yeah, this story is good. Mike=fantastic. Who doesn’t like a cowboy? But Mike + Anna + a bedroom= oh, I just drooled.
Brianna and Joe were just as hot as well as Susan and Gray. Such a sexy little stories that is just enough to get your blood pumping.
I liked that for such story snippets of these character’s lives, you really did get to know them. McCray made it easy like the characters and love their interactions with each other.

"Cowboy Up" - if all the stories are as good as this one, I'll be very happy. Mike seems like a really nice guy and is amazing in the sack (and on the table and on the floor). Way too short, but the sex was steamy and it was a sweet read.
"Rough Rider" - The only thing that bothered me about this story were the typos! It needs a better editor. But that aside, Joe was awesome (and I do love me a dominant man). The sex was sizzling and again, I wish it could have been longer... the story length, no...more

Three decent, sexy stories. Cowboy Up gets points for the hottest sexin' (plus, I like the dogged determination Mike showed in asking Anna out repeatedly). Rough Rider was sexy but I wasn't the hugest fan of Brianna trying to make her city ways work without even attempting to talk to Joe about how he's been running the ranch. Back in the Saddle was my least favorite of the three. While the sexin' was hot enough, I am not a fan of people making decisions for other people because it's "in their be...more

I realize it is a novella but despite that, I thought it moved too fast for them to have an HEA ending.
Rough Rider - 1.5/D+
Heroine was a complete bitch. And spoiled. The pace was ridiculously fast. I don't get the need to rush through it as the author did.
Back in the Saddle - DNF. The reason for their breakup was an eye roller. I couldn't make myself finish it.
I would only recommend this if you are a devoted CM fan.

While the short stories in this novel are 'cute' I had a hard time with each ending. It was downright wrong how it just left off with no real set conclusion. I'll read the second book in the series and see if it's any better. I've also just read book six and had to say I loved it pretty hardcore, just wanted a darn epilogue of awesomeness though.
These three shorts were good. There was quite a bit of falling in love quickly and other very romance novel type story lines. I will definitely be continuing this series. I think if Cheyenne McCray's were given the chance with a novel with more pages, there might be some good stuff going on.

This book contains 3 HOT short cowboy reads and I really liked them all. Each of these stories had 2 HOT love scenes a piece, so if you like your stories short and HOT with yummy cowboy's you may just enjoy these too.

I loved this cowboy series. Fun quick reads. I hate to admit to having a favorite, but....Mike is my cowboy in shining armor. All three stories are well written and you feel like you are in the moment.

These were decent short stories. Not great, but....okay. I was raised around rodeos, so really enjoyed Cowboy Up. It seemed like it could possibly happen and that is a plus. Unfortunately, I couldn't see the ending happening that way, but that's me....
Rough Rider....Now this was a story I could see happening. I was chuckling at Brianna's arrival at the ranch. A city girl coming to a working ranch in a rainstorm...falling in a mudpuddle... Quite a chuckle.

3 short and sweet stories, well developed and thoroughly satisfying. Don't miss out!
If you go into this collection with the idea that they're just sexy cowboy stories, perfect for bedtime, then you should be okay.
Cowboy Up and Back in the Saddle were the better of the 3 stories. Both stories were fun and interesting. The other, Rough Rider , just peeved me off. The heroine was whiny, ridiculous, and I wish I'd stopped reading that story halfway through.

The first story with Anna and Mike was my favorite.
A very easy sexy read. I definitely enjoyed it.
this was a collection of novella, but it was extremely boring, and the character didn't behave as I wanted her to. Disapointing and very boring. Stopped reading ofter first story

As I read each story the thing that stuck out most for me was what was missing. I know these were novellas but there seemed to be huge gaps that made the stories less believable.
This is the first book in the series and it was a pretty good book.I can not wait to read the other 5.So interesting to read and I can not put them down!!!!
More of a 2.5. Very quick and easy reads.
