Great book!! Slowly but surely I am reading all of her books. To me the later era books are not as good as one like this.

A sweet historical western romance but also written with plenty of grit. I like this author she always writes western romances that have depth and interesting characters. The main romantic couple in this book are Summer and Slater, each has seen their fair share of trouble. However the romance and attraction seemed to be hurried and wasn't as strong as the secondary couple the young widowed mother Sadie and the dark and violent gunman Jesse.
