I enjoyed this lecture more than any book I've read this year. Admittedly, I have not read many. Despite my lack of literary breadth of late, it is a singular pleasure to read such clear, articulate material on a subject so often seen as esoteric. It is breathtaking to witness a teacher profess on any subject with this combination of profundity and caprice; if Mr. Worsley were still alive, I would travel a great distance to learn from him.
This book is an excellent introduction to J.R. Worsley and his philosophy. He is witty, articulate, and knowledgeable in this lecture, and everything he says enhanced my understanding of traditional Chinese medicine. Highly recommended to students, patients, and maybe even experienced practitioners.
