This is the best and most concise book I've yet read on the subject of worry - practical, well-written and heartwarming anecdotal colour that helps bring about real change. Look forward to the next book from this partnership.

Worry is a terrible habit that I know I need to work on. While reading this book, I found some very helpful insight as to what triggers my worry, and how I can stop it or at least slow it down. The author uses real live examples that you can relate to then offers a solution which help you as the reader. One weakness that I found in the book however, was it would repeat its self every once in a while which I found to be obnoxious but still insightful. I would recommend this book to someone who is ...more

I like The Worry Book for two reasons: first, it will help life's worriers to worry less; and secondly, I know that vulnerable people are in safe hands with the authors. This book strikes a rare balance in its presentation of liberating truth. It is both scientifically informed and theologically sound; it is both realistic and at the same time faith promoting. The Worry Book is in effect a practical commentary on the greatest advice ever given on worry – Jesus’ statement: ‘Do not worry about tom ...more

"Jesus didn't say, 'There's nothing to worry about,' but 'Don't worry, in spite of everything there is to worry about.' Will van der Hart and Rob Waller tackle this key issue in many people's lives."
-- Nicky Gumbel, Vicar of Holy Trinity Brompton

"One of the hardest verses in the Bible is ‘Do not worry,’ and I was therefore intrigued by The End of Worry. Well, I couldn't put it down! It is honest, humorous, and holistic. I was re-educated and I am already seeing the benefits."

very simple straightforward guide. jus that i picked up reading without realising on the religion role
I can't decide if this book deserved three or four stars. It was insightful in some ways but a little too vague in other places. I really appreciated their technique for dealing with 'floating worries' (worries that don't have a concrete problem attached to them, 'what-if' worries are an example). Present contemplation is that technique, and though it sounded good, I wanted more details!

Not only is The End of Worry an easy-to-read book, but it is also filled with practical steps to overcoming worry. This book is full of scripture references to help you further understand what the Bible has to say about this topic.
