I will not be finishing this book anytime soon, so I'll just review it.

Alfred Gilbert's Aestheticism is the current reading of Gilbert's artwork and provides the reader with new insights. The author throws out many of the previous interpretations of Gilbert's works and provides his own by explaining Gilbert's involvement with his contemporaries in the Aesthetic circle.
