Shelves: first-reads, fantasy
I had a very hard time getting through this very short collection of stories and poems. There were a couple of stories that had great potential, but they were sabotaged by grandiose language and overblown personification.

As a reader I can't match the tone of epic literature with a short story. It's like putting pickles on your PB&J. It's just, off.
