The New Faithful is happy conservative religious journalism (as opposed to liberal & paranoid religious journalism - and stupid too if you are Michelle Goldberg - or conservative & paranoid religious journalism). She describes the trend of a return of some sector of young adults to a broad Christian orthodoxy (Catholic, evangelical, Orthodox), doing it mainly with anecdote and interview. This book deals with the religious habits on young adults, particularly the tendency of many of them to embrace more orthodox or traditional versions of Christianity. The book is interesting and imformative, and I thought it was very well researched and written.
