Mastered by a Wolf is an outstanding novel of love and magic. I found all the characters tempting and wanted to read more about them to see where their lives should lead. The love between Eliza and William is a wildfire burning out of control -- a love every reader wants. I loved the storyline and the detailed writing of the era along with the imaginative powers that lend a magical quality to the entire love story. Its a cute and short read. I liked it ok. I thought the story needed more development. I checked to see if it was part of a series because I kept feeling like I was missing some back story. You get no back story on the animosity between the Weres and Vamps. You get no back story on the Elves or the Fae and yet that is what the story is all about. Eliza and Williams relationship was sweet. I did not put this book on my BDSM shelf, but there is dominance and submission in it. I gave it three stars...more
