A funny and breezy memoir from a member of Chumbawamba. Boff plays it as your average tale of a football-obsessed lad who was just waiting for punk rock to save his life, oh and then there was this band, see. Snippets of British life in the seventies, meeting the folks in the band, the falling apart house they squatted for so long, and some brief bits from various tours, campaigns and media happenings. Reading this because I am interviewing Boff shortly as part of my book research. Not sure I would have otherwise. A much better insight into the whole music world than was Keith Richard's Life. Although they inhabit a different part of that world I suspect. Quirky writing style, but was engaging.
