I can tell that the author of "On Orchard Road" had a passion for her writing, and I could sort of feel it through her main character, who also happened to be a writer. She clearly had a passion for her story and the characters within, and ensured that the full cast were all accounted for and not cast aside.

I partly enjoyed this book and partly did not. It was definatley not my pick. I believe the age
group for this book is 12 years old to 13 because (Jane the main character) goes through many
problems of staring high-school ect. readers going through the same problems as Jane
will notice a connection. The beautiful thing about this book is the main character Jane
and that millions of people will feel a connection to her.

So this book is about an unlikely friendship formed from an unfortunate event.

I loved reading it because I found it hard to comprehend with their simple life. Because Jane (main character) leads such a simple and lovely life I was really engaged with the book. To add because our world is filled with disgrace, wars, fighting and killing it was nice to step back.

Overall I loved its simplicity and beautiful imagery. Well done Elsbeth

Definitely not my favourite and wouldn't put it on my recommendation list either. the author fail at really truly expressing the characters voices and thoughts. it was very plain and boring and didn't really flow that much

I think The book was pretty good,
Though dull and predictable at times it had a good story line and very unlikely relationships. It was cute and Elsbeth Edgar has a real talent for painting a beautiful picture in your mind.
Overall it was a good bok

Pretty good! Well written, though slightly cliché. A light read, and worth spending time on.
