I began reading these because of another more "paranormal" series written by Ms. Wiehl. There is one other of this series I didn't read (it precedes this one) and while these aren't bad I probably won't drop back and pick it up.
These are a series of books about 3 friends (The Triple Threat Club) who work together on "mysteries". The books always contain a certain amount of emotional angst (the first a bit less). Anyone who's followed my reviews at all will know that the angsty parts are somewhat...more

They called themselves the Triple Threat for their work in detecting and solving crimes. There was Nicole, the steady, quiet FBI agent. Cassidy, the vivacious, bouncy TV crime reporter. Allison, the federal prosecutor. Together, over six years, they had put away scores of criminals and the sky was the limit. Together they had a great friendship and supported each other through life's issues.
But all that changed when Cassidy is murdered herself. Nic and Allison are determined to find out who kill...more

I read all 4 books in this series one right after another and they were all really good! The only bad thing I would say about them is Lis seems to repeat a lot of the same descriptions of things. For example the way she describes a character in book 1, it seemed like she used the exact same description in book 2 to describe the same person. I guess maybe because I read them all together I might have noticed it more, but as an author I think she could have reworded the descriptions a little bit....more
“Eyes of Justice,” book four in the “Triple Threat Club” series by Wiehl and Henry begins with a shocking, cold-blooded murder that rips the dynamic crime-fighting team of Cassidy, Nicole and Allison apart. In an event that changes the dynamics of the series, the camaraderie of the characters and adds an unorthodox “…quirky new private investigator named Ophelia.”

“The Triple Threat Club” consists of Federal Prosecutor Allison Pierce, FBI investigator Nicole Hedges, and television crime reporter Cassidy Shaw. The three women have known each other since high school, but have very different lives. Their desire to see justice done when a crime is committed helped them form a bond and a close friendship after graduation. They frequently get together to talk about their cases, their lives, and to share decadent desserts like “Triple Threat Chocolate Cake.” The...more
The Triple Threat was how they would always refer to themselves. It began after they met at a restaurant for dinner and ordered the most expensive dessert on the menu. Three forks for three amazing ladies that went to school together but never had anything in common until now.
Cassidy Shaw was beautiful and in the public eye as often as she could be. As a top crime reporter for Channel Four, she was known as aggressive in her pursuit of justice for the underdogs. Making sure that she followed any...more

OH. MY. I love Lis Wiehl's books, especially this series, and Eyes of Justice takes the suspense to a whole new level. The team is shattered when one of their own is brutally murdered. The other two are not only reeling with grief but determined to find the killer and bring him to justice. The danger and the urgency intensify when the killer seems intent on striking again. . .and one them may be next. Plenty of action infuses this thriller as the women pull out all the stops, risking their jobs...more

Lis Wiehl’s Triple Threat series takes a very unexpected turn! One of the Triple Threat heroines dies! And the other two are trying to track down her killer, while trying to avoid getting killed themselves.

The Triple Threat Club is back. Cassidy Shaw, Allison Pierce and Nicole Hedges met in their exclusive Portland high school, but only became close friends six years ago at their ten-year reunion, when they realised they all worked in different aspects of law enforcement, Cassidy as a TV reporter on the crime watch, Allison as a prosecutor and Nicole as an FBI agent. Over the years they have covered many of the same cases, and it appears they have made enemies.

Cassidy is a crime reporter. She was just finishing up before she joined her friends, Nicole, FBI Agent and Allison, federal prosecutor for dinner and drinks. Cassidy receives a hot tip. It involves her ex and dirty cops. Cassidy agrees to meet the caller. It seems that Cassidy is on to something as the hot tip turns into something bigger than the Triple Threat group can handle alone. They relay on help from Private Investigator, Olivia.

I am not even sure where to go with this review???? I love Lis Wiehl and she is one of my favorite newer authors around, but this was a let down on a couple of levels... Who kills off one of their lead charcters in a series (Unless this ends it all?)? For 3 books I have come to know and like the triple threat team of cassidy, Allison & Nicole...this is tantamount to killing of one of the hardy boys or jupiter of the three investigators. Sure cassidy was slightly shallow/transparent and my le...more
I started reading Eyes of Justice a couple of nights ago. It is great to have a mystery in my hands again. I love being able to get in there and try to figure out just who did what and better yet WHY?
This is part of a series of books by Lis Wiehl and April Henry. I am getting in here late so it is sad to know that I do not get to really know one of the main characters. You see she is the one that 'got done in' for this book. But maybe I can learn why Cassidy (the unlucky one) had to die off.

Cassidy, Nicole and Allison have been best friends for the past six years. They call themselves the Triple Threats, a name they got by sharing a triple chocolatey dessert. Cassidy is a reporter, Nicole an FBI agent and Allison a Federal Prosecutor. When Cassidy doesn't show up for one of their planned dinners, Allison and Nicole know something is off. Cassidy doesn't go anywhere without her phone and she isn't picking up.

Book four of the Triple Threat Series by Lis Wiehl - 3 stars. Cassidy, the television news reporter member of the "Triple Threat Club" has been murdered. The body is found by Allison and Nicole and Cassidy's former boyfriend is the number one subject. The complicating factor in this case is that it is being handled by the Portland Police who don't want any interference by the FBI or the Federal Prosecutor's office. As the story moves along, there is an attempt on the life of Allison leading to t...more

In this newest installment of the "Triple Threat Club," one of them is murdered. It is so unexpected, so devastating, and all the remaining two can think of is catching the killer. Eyes of Justice is part of a series and is the fourth book in the series. This is the first book in the series I have read. It read well as a stand-alone and I got to know the characters well during this one book. In fact it might be b...more

Been following Lis Wiehl's Triple Threat series since the beginning. I was afraid that eventually it would get stale especially since Cheslea Cain's Heartsick series about serial killer is set in the northwest also. But it's a different kind of series based on the friendship that three women hold. This is not a stand alone book. You need to read the whole series in order to get this book's emotion. One of the three women die and the others may very well in order to solve her case. There's a new...more

Lis Wiehl and April Henry have outdone themselves yet again. This novel is everything you would expect from a mystery thriller. This book was stunning, unexpected, unique, emotional, and adrenaline rushing. I love the fact that the characters are so alive, and you are immediately swept up into the story. There are no chapters that drag, and it is constantly on the go with suspense. My attention was pulled in with the first chapter, and I was immersed. I didn’t want to put it down and I found mys...more
I didn't realize this was the third book in the series until I was 20 or 30 pages into it. I usually don't like to read books out of order, but I took my chance with this one. When I read the summary, I immediately thought of James Patterson's Womens Murder Club series. But I discovered quickly that that was not fair to Patterson. Although the premise is the same, the writing quality difference is evident. Wiehl is more predictable, but I was drawn enough to the characters to keep reading. There...more
The Triple Threat Club consists of Allison who is a federal prosecutor, Nicole an FBI Special Agent and Cassidy a Channel four crime reporter. They all went to school together but didn't become friends until their 10 year reunion where they found that they were all in similar fields of work. They came up with The Triple Threat Club when they got together for dinner and decided to split the most decadent dessert on the menu, a Triple Threat Chocolate cake.

I’ve really, really enjoyed the other two books I read in this series, Triple Threat, and I was not let down with this one either, Eyes of Justice was an edge of your seat suspense that kept me flipping the virtual pages. I read this book in one day – I couldn’t and didn’t want to put it down – it was engaging and kept me up reading way past my bedtime and I was not disappointed, except for the loss of a character. In a way since I’ve read the other books, the characters have become like another...more
When I picked up this book, I was expecting a story more like the last one I read. A murder, and the three ladies look to solving it. That all happened, but I wasn't prepared for one of the main characters to become a victim.
Then I kept reading, mainly because I was more interested to know how the remaining two would solve it.
Funny how two become three once more with Ophelia coming into the picture, and again the mystery was solved.

Eyes of Justice, is the fourth novel in the Triple Threat Club series by Lis Wiehl. When I received this from Booksneeze I was excited, even though I hadn’t read the first three.
